According to CBS News, Chad Daybell’s trial is scheduled to take place on April 1, 2024, at the Ada Country Courthouse. This courthouse is located in Boise, Idaho. Initially, everyone believed that both Chad and his filicide wife, Lori Daybell, were going to be tried together. However, in March, Judge Steven Boyce announced that the court was going to look at cases against both individuals separately.

Chad Daybell has been charged with the murder of his wife Lori’s children Joshua and Tylee. Furthermore, he has even been charged with the murder of his first wife, Tammy Daybell. In total, he is facing six charges.

What did Lori and Chad Daybell do?

Lori and Chad took their children Joshua and Tylee to Yellowstone National Park in September 2019. This was the last time anyone had ever heard from the deceased. Joshua’s biological grandparents had last spoken to him in August. However, after failing to get in touch with him for several months, they informed the police to look for his whereabouts in November 2019.

During their trip to Yellowstone National Park, Lori and Chad were only dating. However, they soon tied the knot on November 5, 2019. Their wedding took place in Hawaii.

By the time December arrived, the cops were thoroughly searching for the missing kids. In 2020, Daybell’s property was searched and what the officials discovered blew their minds. They found human remains. After investigating further, the cops learned that the remains were those of Joshua and Tylee. At the time of their deaths, Joshua was 7 years old while Tylee was 16 years old.

The cops furthermore learned that Joshua was wrapped in duct tape and his sister’s body was badly burned. While Chad’s trial is scheduled to take place next year, Lori is serving life imprisonment with no possibility of parole.
