DJ Envy has been labeled guilty of real estate fraud by the court of public opinion within the last few weeks. His alleged business associate, Cesar Pina, recently spoke out and absolved The Breakfast Club host of any guilt in the situation.

Pina, who was arrested last week, took to Instagram Live to address the controversial matter at hand this week. “In all these lawsuits, these 20 lawsuits, DJ Envy was never in the room with me,” he said. “DJ Envy has nothing to do with any of these 20 lawsuits of these people who are suing me… and it f**king sucks bro.” He stated that he couldn’t speak up for months because he has attorneys and is paranoid about being sued by anyone.

He then turned his attention to his “victims” and claimed that he is only being sued because of his success. “I got all the haters on my page saying ‘you’re going to jail, pay the people.’ But there’s two, three sides to the story,” he asserted. “I have 20 lawsuits. Out of the 20 lawsuits, a lot of those people I don’t owe money to.”

Cesar Pina continued his rant by being dismissive to everyone who was seemingly hoping for his downfall. “I am still gonna sleep fine tonight. I’m still gonna be in a multi-million dollar home,” Pina said. “I’m still good, but are you? When I go to jail and I come back out and I flip the sh*t again three times, what are you gonna be doing?”

Meghann Cuniff, the Law & Crime reporter who provided real-time updates on Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting case over the last several months, revealed that DJ Envy plans to cooperate with the feds as they investigate his alleged business associate. “Obviously, Envy is going to be assisting and cooperating full,” she reported via Envy’s attorney, Massimo D’Angelo. “He paid out substantial sums similar to some of the other investors who thought they were getting money back.”

D’Angelo supports the claim that Envy was not involved in Pina’s schemes, but was instead a victim. Envy reportedly invested $500,000 into Pina’s business, but allegedly never saw any monetary return.
