Central Florida festivals this weekend: Fall Fiesta, Greek, renaissance, beer and more

As the autumn season ushers in slightly milder temperatures to the Sunshine State, a swath of outdoor events is returning with festivals celebrating art, beer, Greek culture, medieval times, makers and more.

At Lake Eola, it’s the Fall Fiesta in the Park, while Lake County plays host to Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire. This weekend also marks the Orlando Beer Festival, Maker Faire Orlando, the Orlando Greek Fest and several other events scattered throughout Central Florida.

While this may not be an exhaustive list, here are a variety of festivals to explore during the weekend of Nov. 3-5.

Fall Fiesta in the Park

Back for its 52nd year, Fall Fiesta in the Park brings hundreds of artists and crafters to Lake Eola for visitors to browse and purchase. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, food vendors and a kid’s zone.

If you go: Fall Fiesta in the Park is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 4-5 at 512 E. Washington St. in Orlando. The festival is pet-friendly. More information: fiestainthepark.com

Orlando Greek Fest

Located at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Maitland, this free-admission festival promises home-cooked food, authentic Greek beer and wine, dance performances, live music, historic church tours, kids’ activities and more.

If you go: Orlando Greek Fest is 4-11 p.m. Nov. 3, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Nov. 4 and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 5 at 1217 Trinity Woods Lane in Maitland. Preferred on-site parking is $10; a free shuttle is available for offsite parking. The event is cashless. More information: orlandogreekfest.com

Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire

Set in 1604, this Lake County fair puts visitors into a land where kings, knights, and medieval merchants abound. Browse more than 50 artisans touting swords, jewelry, leather work and more. See an archery stunt show, the royal joust, weapons demonstrations or feast on a giant turkey leg.

If you go: Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Festival is 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 3 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Nov. 4-5 and Nov. 11-12 at 28598 Lady of the Lakes Ave. in Tavares. Online advance tickets are $20 per day for adults and $10 per day for children. Multi-day passes are available, and discounts are available on select days for students, seniors and veterans. Orlando Beer Festival

For one day at Orlando’s Festival Park, guests can sip and sample more than 200 beverages to their heart’s content. The 8th annual Orlando Beer Festival brings together more than 50 local, regional and national breweries and companies offering beer, ciders, seltzers, spirits and cocktails. Unlimited sampling (while supplies last) is included in the price of admission.

If you go: The Orlando Beer Festival is from 2-5 p.m. Nov. 4 at 2911 Robinson St. in Orlando. Early admission is available for VIP and GA+ tickets. Tickets are $65 before fees for general admission (prices increase on the day of the festival). More information: orlandobeerfestival.com

Maker Faire Orlando

Celebrating technology, art, engineering and people who make things, Maker Faire Orlando returns for its 11th annual event with an estimated 15,000 attendees and more than 200 exhibits at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Fan-favorite activities and displays include power racing, combat robots, nerdy derby and cosplay makers in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

If you go: Maker Faire Orlando is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 4-5 at 4603 W. Colonial Drive in Orlando. Online advance tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and children ages 3-17 (before tax). Two-day passes are also available. Parking is free. More information: makerfaireorlando.com

Central Florida International Auto Show

The Central Florida International Auto Show returns to Orange County Convention Center with the latest model year vehicles, including EVs, hybrids and gas vehicles. Visitors can experience test drives and rides, plus hundreds of vehicles on display indoors.

If you go: The Central Florida International Auto Show is open noon-9 p.m. Nov. 3, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Nov. 4 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 5 at 9400 Universal Blvd. in Orlando. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (ages 62 and older), $7 for children ages 6-12 and $10 for military, first responders and students. Children ages 5 and younger enter for free. College Park JazzFest

College Park Main Street is hosting its annual community street festival, complete with live jazz, R&A, big band and rock music on three stages. Visitors can browse local shops and restaurants in between sets.

If you go: College Park JazzFest is from 5-11 p.m. Nov. 4 on Edgewater Drive. Admission is $15 per person in advance or $20 the day of the event. Children ages 12 and younger enter for free. More information: collegeparkmainstreet.com

Mount Dora Plant and Garden Fair

Vendors and nurseries from all around Florida will convene in Mount Dora this weekend to sell a variety of native and exotic plants. Experts will be available for gardening advice. Visitors can also see live painting and find food vendors situated around Donnelly Park.

Barberville Pioneer Settlement Fall Country Jamboree

Situated just east of Ocala National Forest, there’s a village that time forgot. The Barberville Pioneer Settlement transports visitors into a historical village that showcases trades and ways of life from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The 47th Annual Fall Country Jamboree features living history demonstrations, folk music, workshops, barbecue food, a silent auction and more.

If you go: Barberville Pioneer Settlement celebrates its fall jamboree 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 4 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 5 at 1776 Lightfoot Lane in Barberville. Adult admission is $10, and children ages 6-12 enter for $5. Children ages 5 and younger enter for free. Pets are not allowed; service animals only. More information: pioneersettlement.org
