Central Cee Among Several UK Rappers Set to Perform at Veld Music Festival

Central Cee is leading the charge among UK rappers set to perform at this year’s Veld Music Festival scheduled for Aug. 4-6 at Downsview Park in Toronto.

The other British rappers appearing on the billing include Aitch, K-Trap, Krept & Konan, Lancey Foux, and Unknown T, who collaborated with Toronto rapper Northsidebenji on “One In The Chamber.”

While Veld is typically known for its EDM-heavy lineups with a few rappers sprinkled onto them, the 2023 edition marks the first time the rappers come from primarily the United Kingdom. The electronic music headliners are Above & Beyond, Ilenium, Tiësto, Zedd, and Canadians Loud Luxury and Rezzmau5.

The 2022 edition of Veld featured Gunna and Polo G as the headliners in the rap section, but the 2023 poster puts the EDM headliners front and centre.

The pre-sale begins on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. with sales to the general public beginning the next day at 8 a.m.
