Celtic Christmas concert coming to Moses Lake

Nov. 30—MOSES LAKE — Geoffrey Castle will bring his Celtic Christmas show to Moses Lake on Dec. 10, according to an announcement from the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce.

The show, part of the Christmas in Washington concert series, will feature Castle along with his Celtic Night Band, Irish tenor Dan Connolly, the Seattle Irish Dance Company and singer Emily McIntosh, according to the announcement. Mac MacDonald will be there as well as Santa Claus.

Castle is a pioneer of the six-string electric violin, according to his website. He has recorded 12 albums, including "Noel: A Celtic Christmas Celebration." Connolly, a prolific singer and songwriter in his own right, has sung with Castle since 1995.

The Seattle Irish Dancers are the only professional performance Irish dance company in the Pacific Northwest, according to the Christmas in Washington website, and have performed with musicians from around the world, including Gaelic Storm, The Chieftains and Celtica Pipes Rock.
