Celine Dion, known for hot tunes like "A New Day Has Come" and "I'm Alive," has continued to dispel rumors of using a wheelchair due to Stiff-Person Syndrome by attending Katy Perry'srecent residency show in Las Vegas.

The hitmaker was seen dancing and having a great time at the show alongside other celebrities, including Zoe Saldana, Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden, Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry.

Celine Dion Had No Problem Turning Up At Katy Perry's Residency

Last year, Celine revealed her diagnosis of Moersch-Woltman Syndrome, also known as Stiff-Person Syndrome [SPS], a rare neurological condition characterized by muscle stiffness and painful spasms. Due to the condition, she had to take several steps back from being in the spotlight to prioritize her health.

However, she recently reentered the public eye, making her first appearance in three years at a Montreal Canadiens hockey game against the Vegas Golden Knights. She then enjoyed one of Perry's last residency shows at Resorts World Theatre on Sunday, and she looked good while at it.

Per Daily Mail, the "My Heart Will Go On" artist stylishly paired a black blazer with a cleavage-baring leopard print dress and gold jewelry on her ears and wrists. The superstar's outdoor sighting comes on the heels of her older sister, Claudette, spilling tea about her recovery process to a Canadian media outlet. The 74-year-old stated:

"She’s doing everything to recover. She’s a strong woman. It’s an illness we know so little about. There are spasms – they’re impossible to control. You know who people often jump up in the night because of a cramp in the leg or the calf? It’s a bit like that, but in all muscles. There’s little we can do to support her, to alleviate her pain."

Even though she previously disclosed that, despite collaborating with top researchers in the field, the Grammy-winning Céline has witnessed minimal improvement in her health, Claudette then expressed the family's hope that researchers will discover a cure for the debilitating illness.

Besides staying away from the public eye, Celine has had to cancel her shows, including the Courage World Tour. Speaking on that, Claudette shared, "I honestly think that she mostly needs to rest. She always goes above and beyond; she always tries to be the best and top of her game. At one point, your heart and your body are trying to tell you something. It's important to listen to it."

Announcing the cancelation of the tour, the "Because You Loved Me" singer herself wrote via Instagram:

"I'm so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I'm working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you're 100%. It's not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it's best that we cancel everything now until I'm really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I'm not giving up and I can't wait to see you again!"

Celine Dion Previously Stepped Out Without A Wheelchair

Claudette had similarly spoken in her sister's defense after rumors of her using a wheelchair surfaced in September. The speculations began after the virality of a YouTube video titled "Céline Dion's Family Reveals How She Is Dying" on social media platforms like TikTok and X.

Debunking the rumors about the seven-time Billboard Music Awards winner using a wheelchair for mobility, the Quebec native declared that her sister is strong and not depressed. She added, "She really has the joy of living. We will get through this. Why do they say she is in a wheelchair? Why do they say she had cancer? Why are you inventing?"

As for her appearance at the aforementioned hockey game in Vegas, The Blast observed that Celine opted for a sporty look, wearing a beige two-piece outfit and a cream puffy jacket. She completed the ensemble with striking white sneakers and gold jewelry and kept her blonde locks in a sleek ponytail.

She's even seen interacting with the team's head coach, Martin St. Louis, in a clip shared to the Montreal Canadiens's official Instagram page. During the meeting, the World Music Awards recipient exchanged a very firm handshake with the coach and expressed, "It was such an honor to meet you."

In response, Louis remarked, "My goodness, me too," and mentioned that he had watched her perform for the pope at Montreal's Olympic Stadium in 1984.
