The actress, who has appeared on Blue Bloods, The O.C. NYPD Blue and Friends, married fiancé Dave McClain on April 8 at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in California's Santa Susana Mountains.

Somerville was walked down the aisle by her mother to the score of their favorite movie, Out of Africa.

"She raised me alone so she's my best friend and both mom and dad to me," Somerville told PEOPLE. "She always jokes 'Now I can die in peace!' She loves Dave and they have an amazing bond. She calls him her son."

McClain, whose sister married the couple, was escorted down the aisle by his two daughters.

"I never believed in soulmates until I met Dave," Somerville said. "I love everything about him."

Britt Robertson & Paul Floyd

Britt Robertson and Paul Floyd are married!

On April 8, the pair wed in an intimate outdoor ceremony in Los Angeles.

The actress, who has appeared in Secret Circle and Life Unexpected, wore a strapless white lace dress paired with a short veil and sunglasses and for the part of the ceremony stood barefoot.

Robertson was joined by some of her former costars to help celebrate the special day, including Secret Circle's Phoebe Tonkin, Shelley Hennig and Thomas Dekker and Kristoffer Polaha, who played her father in the CW's Life Unexpected.

"Worlds collide," Robertson wrote on Instagram alongside a series of photos from the day. "What a wonderful Robertson-Floyd day it was."

Rachel Bradshaw & Chase Lybbert

Rachel Bradshaw and Chase Lybbert are married!

The musician — who is the daughter of former pro football player and FOX NFL Sunday analyst Terry Bradshaw — wed her childhood friend in front of 300 guests in Denton County, Texas, on March 25.

"Our families are so close," Bradshaw told PEOPLE. "And solidifying that is so special, really, for all of us. Our moms have been trying to hook us up for over a decade, so this is the best day ever for them, and us! It's just so much love and warmth."

Rachel, who wore a gown by Zhivago for the ceremony, was walked down the aisle by her father. Later, the bride changed into a custom jumpsuit by Olia Zavozina.

The festivities continued at the Denton Country Club — a venue that held a special significance for the couple.

"Our parents' parents have been members for generations, and we are members," Bradshaw said. "And on the day that I saw him and I fell in love with him was June 28th, 2021. I was sitting at the country club with my girlfriend Erin, drinking wine, and at a corner table. So we just fell in love there, met there. His parents were both married there. So I was like, 'You know what? We got to do it at the country club.' It's just so meant to be."

Lily Rose & Daira Eamon

Country singer Lily Rose has wed her longtime love Daira Eamon!

The couple tied the knot at The Bridge Building in Nashville on March 25.

"We wanted to get married in Nashville because it was 'our' home together, and we wanted all of our family and friends to come to celebrate us here," the couple told PEOPLE. "[The Bridge Building] had been a dream of ours since we first saw it."

For their big day, Rose wore a custom Indochino suit, while Eamon, a retail marketing manager, opted for a Galia Lahav dress from The Dress Theory in Nashville.

The couple exchanged handwritten vows during the ceremony and had their close friend, Sydney Stroup, marry them.

"We asked Sydney because she met Lily shortly before Lily and I met, so she really saw our entire love story unfold," Eamon said. "She saw it firsthand from day one and really watched us fall in love."

Trace McSorley & Kasey Morano

Trace McSorley and his longtime love, Kasey Morano, have tied the knot!

The Arizona Cardinals' player wed on March 25 in front of 300 at St. Augustine's Church in Philadelphia.

The bride wore a dress by designer Justin Alexander and walked down the aisle to the song "The River Flows in You."

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with their friends and family at the Crystal Tea Room, which was decorated with roses, ranunculus, anemones (the bride's favorite) and various types of lush greenery by planner Danielle Rothweiler.

"We're both really excited to share this day with our close friends and family and to officially begin building the rest of our lives together," McSorley told PEOPLE of the special day.

Landon Dickerson & Brooke Kuhlman

And — just a few states south, another NFLer got married on March 25.

Philadelphia Eagles' Landon Dickerson wed his college sweetheart, Brooke Kuhlman, in a mountainside ceremony in Greenville, South Carolina.

The bride walked down the aisle to a guitar and cello version of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" wearing a gown by Lela Rose from Elizabeth Johns in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated with their guests in an outdoor reception at Hotel Domestique.

"We wanted a ceremony and reception spot that had a view of the mountains," Kuhlman said. "Landon grew up in the mountains and I have always enjoyed hiking, so a mountain wedding just made sense for us."

Braden Galloway & Mackenzie Grimsley

Braden Galloway is married!

The former Clemson football player wed his college sweetheart, Mackenzie Grimsley, at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, on March 24.

The bride wore a gown by Pnina Tornai for the ceremony, while Galloway opted for a custom black suit from Nota Bene Bespoke that incorporated photos of the couple.

"It's rare that you find your person so early in life, but I was blessed to meet Mackenzie at such a young age, and we've experienced so much growth and maturity together," Galloway told PEOPLE."It makes me feel like I've known her my whole life and we still have forever to go."

Congratulations are in order for Lady Amelia Spencer and Greg Mallett!

The couple tied the knot on a mountain-top near Cape Town, South Africa, Hello! magazine revealed.

"It means so much to get married here," Amelia, who is Princess Diana's niece, told the magazine. "Growing up here together for the last 14 years, all of mine and Greg's happiest times as a couple are here. It's even more special now."

The couple revealed their engagement back in 2020 after 11 years of dating.

"Best day of my life ❤️ I can't wait to spend forever with you @gregmallett I couldn't love you more," the model wrote in an Instagram post sharing a photo of her and Greg kissing while showing off her new diamond ring.

Elijah Mitchell has said "I do" to his high school sweetheart!

The San Francisco 49ers' running back married Jasmine LeJeune on March 12 surrounded by family and friends at The White Magnolia in Kentwood, Louisiana.

"The details of the chapel are something I always imagined since I was a little girl," the bride told PEOPLE of the venue. "It matched everything I ever dreamed of."

The athlete opted for a custom-made navy suit by Men's Wearhouse with personalized Nike low dunks while his bride walked down the aisle in a dress designed by Made With Love and jewelry custom-designed by local jeweler Melancon's Abbeville.

After the ceremony, though, she swapped her heels for a pair of Nike low dunks to match her new husband.

As one of the personal touches incorporated into the big day, the couple's three sons Emerson, Elliott and Eason all served as ring bearers for their parents' nuptials.

Princess Iman of Jordan & Jameel Alexander Thermiotis

Princess Iman of Jordan married Jameel Alexander Thermiotis in a stunning royal wedding on March 12.

The 26-year-old daughter of Queen Rania and King Abdullah II was walked down the aisle by her older brother, Crown Prince Hussein, who shared photos from the ceremony to Instagram.

The nuptials took place in a wide-open venue featuring floor to ceiling windows and decorated with lily-laced branches.

For her walk down the aisle, the bride wore a bespoke white wedding dress by Dior with lace-cuffed long sleeves that matched the gown's neckline. She accessorized with a long veil adorned with flowers and a tiara — she is a princess after all!

Thermiotis, on the other hand, opted for a three-piece suit and tie.

Taryn Papa & Brett Ehmen

After two years of dating, The Voice's Taryn Papa and Brett Ehmen tied the knot!

On March 11, the couple exchanged vows aboard the Sun Dream yacht in Fort Lauderdale during a a four-hour cruise up the Intercoastal Waterway in a ceremony that was officiated by the captain of the yacht.

"The moment I saw the yacht photos and where the ceremony would take place, I knew I wanted a big floral arch to say our vows under," Papa told PEOPLE of the decor. "I wanted something really simplistic and romantic, lots of candles and beautiful red roses."

Papa's gown served as her "something new" and held a special meaning. From Morilee by Madeline Gardner, the dress was given to her by a late fan whose wife runs Oconee Bridal in Eatonton, Georgia.

Other personal touches included the singer stitching in a piece of her mother's wedding dress into her own gown as well as disassembling her late grandmother's wedding band into two bands to surround Papa's engagement ring.

Cammie Scott & Taryn Arnold

The pair wed on March 4 in front of 150 friends and family at the Buena Vista Estate in Thermal, California.

For the big day, Scott, who is a beauty influencer, wore a Vivienne Westwood gown while Arnold chose a strapless gown by Alex Perry.

In a special touch, both of the brides' brothers officiated the ceremony together.

The women prepared their own vows with Arnold ending hers with a quote from Love on the Spectrum: "I'm not sure when to end my vows, so I won't. I vow to keep making vows until we die, for we are special and worth it."

Erica Vazquez-Bacardi & Joey Depriest-Capparelli

Erica Vazquez-Bacardi is a married woman!

The daughter of rum heiress Hilda Maria Bacardi married her fiancé Joey Depriest-Capparelli at the Four Seasons Resort at Walt Disney World on March 4.

Celebrity wedding and events planner David Tutera designed the elaborate 300-guest, three-day celebration and transformed the resort's Palm Ballroom into a "whimsical, magical and beautiful forest" for the epic celebration, he told PEOPLE.

The space was draped in woodland mosses and towering greenery including 6- to 15-ft.-tall silver tip fir, maple, oak and olive trees. Designers also incorporated hybrid delphiniums, French tulips and garden roses plus dark and glossy gardenia foliage.

Tutera not only planned the event, but was an integral part of the day, officiating the ceremony.

Kelsey Plum & Darren Waller

Two Las Vegas athletes are now husband and wife!

Las Vegas Aces guard Kelsey Plum and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller said "I do" on March 4, the bride revealed on Instagram.

"Him 🖤 3.4.23," the reigning WNBA All-Star MVP wrote in the caption alongside five photos from the special day. The shots included a glimpse of the newlyweds' first kiss as husband and wife, a solo shot of Plum smiling at her husband-to-be as they made their vows, as well as a photo of her engagement ring shining through the couple's interlaced hands.

Another member of the Las Vegas Raiders also tied the knot on March 4!

Maxx Crosby married Rachel Washburn at Cascata Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada, in front of family, friends and their 5-month-old daughter, Ella.

TikTok stars Taylor Watts and Sophia Hill are husband and wife!

The Christian content creators known as Taylor and Soph exchanged their vows at Heyward Manor in Iva, South Carolina, on March 4.

Hill wore a dress by Stella York, from Tiffinie Bleu Bridal and walked down the aisle to "Gratitude" by Brandon Lake before joining Watts and their 12 bridesmaids and groomsmen.

While Hill did the bulk of the planning, Watts did give his input in one department: food.

"I picked Italian," he told PEOPLE. "That I had a big hand in, but other than that, colors or schemes or anything like that, not my thing."

Garrett Miller & Makenna Quesenberry

Siesta Key stars Garrett Miller and Makenna Quesenberry revealed they had tied the knot after sharing photos and videos to Instagram of the big day at the beginning of March.

Miller shared a close up of his look from the big day which included a chocolate brown suit with a matching bow tie from Tweed Suit Shop. Quesenberry opted for an off-the-shoulder mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline and decorated in flowers, which she showcased in her own social media posts.

The reality stars were joined by a few of their costars to ring in the milestone including Will Gray, who served as one of Miller's groomsmen, Brandon Gomes, Chloe Trautman and her husband Chris Long.

Ben Savage & Tessa Angermeier

After announcing their engagement earlier this year, Ben Savage and Tessa Angermeier have tied the knot!

News of the nuptials was shared by one of the celebration's attendees, stylist Chloe Engelhardt, who posted some photos of the couple at their February ceremony in Los Angeles.

"Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Savage, we couldn't be happier for you 'guuuyyyss' 🤍👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️🥂" she wrote in the caption.

Per the photos, the bride opted for a sleeveless gown with a simple silhouette for her walk down the aisle, while her new husband sported a classic tuxedo.

Angermeier then changed into a white 1920s flapper-inspired dress for the reception complete with white sneakers.

Sophie Simmons & James Henderson

Gene Simmons' daughter, Sophie Simmons, tied the knot with her longtime love, James Henderson!

After getting married at a Los Angeles courthouse on Feb. 17, the newlyweds exchanged vows in front of 50 friends and family members at her mother Shannon Tweed-Simmons' Malibu home on Feb. 22.

Sophie walked down the aisle as the sun began to set in a sparkling blush dress by Galia Lahav and Maria Elena Bridal headpiece to Band of Horses' "No One's Gonna Love You."

"When my fiancé and I first started dating nine years ago, he took me to a Band of Horses concert," Sophie told PEOPLE of the song's signifcance. "I was so tired from filming our reality show Shannon & Sophie back then, I fell asleep on his shoulder. We were way too early in the dating phase for me to do that. Luckily, he thought it was cute, and he woke me up for that one song."

In a sweet moment shared with her father, Sophie and Gene danced to a song Sophie had written herself for the father-daughter dance she titled, "Daddy's Girl."

"Since I was little, I've written my parents songs for gifts," she said. "I wrote him a Father's Day song years ago, and he hasn't stopped playing it. So, I was like, 'All right, it's time for a new song.'"

Following the backyard ceremony, the couple planned a a speakeasy-style reception in L.A. for 250 of their family and friends the next day,

"The reception party is the big moment," Sophie said ahead of the celebrations. "We're going to party until the sun comes up."

Marcus King & Briley Hussey

Marcus King is a married man!

The Grammy-nominated country rocker married Briley Hussey in a lavish ceremony on Feb. 19 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville.

The bride walked down the aisle in a Rita Vinieris-designed gown from Adorn Nashville, while King sported a custom tux designed with Jukebox Mama and custom-designed Lucchese cowboy boots along with a cowboy hat from Lone Hawk Hats.

"We wanted the ceremony to be simple and elegant and our reception to be the complete opposite," King explained to PEOPLE ahead of the big day. "A lot of colors, candles, fun linens and china, lights, trees and foliage — definitely a glam garden vibe."

After dinner, the newlyweds had a unique offering in store for their guests: getting inked by King's primary tattoo artist Adam the Kid.

Braunwyn Windham-Burke & Jennifer Spinner

Though Braunwyn Windham-Burke is still in the midst of divorce proceedings, the RHOC alumna shared a sweet photo on Valentine's Day of her kissing fiancée Jennifer Spinner in front of a Las Vegas chapel, leading fans to believe the two had officially tied the knot.

"Crazy….in love. I adore you @hashtag_blehssed ❤️ You're my love, my best friend, the reason I laugh. I'm the luckiest girl in the world 💕 Here's to a lifetime of adventures," she captioned the post along with a series of hashtags including #vegaswedding.

The following day, Windham-Burke opened up to PEOPLE about the ceremony and its significance despite the fact that their commitment can not yet be legally binding due to her ongoing divorce from ex Sean Burke.

"I know I can't legally marry her right now, as I'm still going through divorce proceedings, but in my eyes and my heart, she's my wife and I'm hers," Windham-Burke told PEOPLE. "We're married. It's like what queer people have been doing forever anyway. We're committing to one another and starting our life together. We got to get married by Valentine's Day by Elvis. How iconic is that? What a bucket list item!"

For the ceremony, Windham-Burke wore a Queen of Sparkles White Feather Ring dress that was covered in images of large engagement rings and complete with a feathered skirt.

James Valentine & Alexis Novak

Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine tied the knot with his longtime love, Alexis Novak.

In addition to sharing three images exclusively with PEOPLE, Valentine also shared two to Instagram on Feb. 6 which he captioned, "We eloped ❤️❤️❤️."

The bride wore two dresses for the occasion: one long sleeve, sequined number and one with spaghetti straps.

Behati Prinsloo, Valentine's bandmate Adam Levine's wife, also shared a glimpse into the festivities, posting a few photos of her own on Instagram. One shot showed Novak holding flowers while another showed Behati and the bride playing a basketball arcade game.

Taylor wore a dress by Pronovious from NWLA in Los Angeles and jewelry by Neil Lane for her walk down the aisle which she did alongside her dad, Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, to "Bittersweet Symphony."

"We were so, so happy," Taylor said of the big day. "It was nice to see everything come to life after planning for so long. We're so stoked!"

Bresha Webb & Nick Jones Jr.

The Run the World actress and her TV writer husband exchanged vows at The Beverly Hills Hotel in California on Feb. 4 in an "old Hollywood glam" themed soirée.

Following the couple's private exchange of vows, Webb walked down the aisle in a Galia Lahav gown to "This is Why I Love You" by Grammy recording artist —and their wedding officiant— MAJOR with a string quartet accompaniment. The bride later changed into a second look by Tal Kadem.

The newlyweds were joined by a roster of stars to celebrate their big day including Kelly Rowland, Essence Atkins, Angel Laketa Tanksley and Zulay Henao, who all served as bridesmaids.

On Feb. 1, Clare Crawley married Mascot Sports CEO Ryan Dawkins in an intimate ceremony in Sacramento, California.

The former Bachelorette lead told PEOPLE it was the "happiest day of my life hands down!"

Crawley revealed on Instagram that she hit a bump in the road just days before the ceremony when her planned wedding dress was stolen from her car.

"In the moment, I was like 'Ughhhhh, what do I do?'" she wrote on Instagram. "And I thought, 'It's okay. It's about the moment and what we're celebrating. I can wear anything, and I'll be happy that we're getting married.'"

The bride ended up sporting a replacement dress from Flares Bridal which she called her "dream" wedding look.

The actress revealed the big news on Instagram sharing that she and her longtime love Ira Kunyansky got married on Jan. 28.

In an initial post, Breslin shared an image of her engagement ring and wedding band placed on her freshly manicured hand along with the caption, "Ya girl got married y'all."

In a subsequent post, the actress shared a glimpse of the big day with a photo from the dance floor of their reception.

The couple tied the knot in a ceremony at the Pérez Art Museum in Miami, Florida, on Jan. 28, Hola! reported.

The newlyweds were joined by various celebrity friends including David and Victoria Beckham, Salma Hayek, Lin Manuel Miranda and Luis Fonsi, according to the outlet. Miami mayor Francis X. Suarez officiated.

Romeo Santos, Maluma, Marco Antonio Solis and Anthony's brother, Bigram Zayas, were also in attendance and served as witnesses, per Hola!

While the outlet reported the Anthony's two sons Cristian and Ryan attended the event, it was not immediately clear if his twins Emme and Max, whom he shares with ex Jennifer Lopez, or his two kids from his marriage to Debbie Rosado, daughter Arianna and son Chase, were involved.

On Jan. 20, the day the astronaut celebrated his 93rd birthday, he and his longtime girlfriend got married in Los Angeles.

Aldrin shared the news on Twitter writing, "On my 93rd birthday & the day I will also be honored by Living Legends of Aviation I am pleased to announce that my longtime love Dr. Anca Faur & I have tied the knot."

He continued, "We were joined in holy matrimony in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles & are as excited as eloping teenagers."

Belcher tied the knot with boyfriend Blake Fox in an intimate, black-tie affair in Hoboken, New Jersey, on Jan. 17 — the couple's four-year anniversary.

For the ceremony, Belcher wore a chocolate and black Lazio tuxedo, a black bowtie and matching shoes paired with a white button-down shirt. Fox wore a black Lazio tuxedo paired with a white tux shirt and black bowtie.

To make the day even more special, Belcher's Death of a Salesman co-star, Andre De Shields, served as the ceremony's marriage officiant.

Princess 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah & Prince Bahar ibni Jefri Bolkian

Princess 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah and Prince Bahar ibni Jefri Bolkiah are now married after a week-long wedding in January.

The couple, who per Tatler are first cousins, began their wedding festivities in the independent sultanate on the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia on Jan. 8.

The Princess is the daughter of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah while Prince Bahar is the son of the sultan's brother Prince Jefri Bolkiah, the outlet explained.

Seven ceremonies followed the initial event which began in the Banquet Hall of Istana Nurul Iman, the sultan's official residence, according to the Borneo Bulletin.

Shane Dawson & Ryland Adams

After announcing their engagement in 2019 following three years of dating, the longtime couple tied the knot in a courthouse wedding.

The couple documented the entire experience in a 23-minute-long vlog that included a glimpse of the pair reading their marriage vows aloud and sharing their first official kiss as spouses.

The pair attempted to get finger tattoos in lieu of wedding rings though after the artist explained they would eventually rub off, they decided against it. Instead, they decided to splurge on a "wedding cake" at Voodoo Doughnuts.

The news of the couple's engagement came just days after Dawson apologized via Twitter for joking about engaging in sexual acts with his cat in a resurfaced 2015 interview.

On Jan. 6, MLB player Greg Deichmann married Burckel Gervai at the Grand Velas Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in front of 100 guests.

"My favorite part of the ceremony was the moment I saw my groom before I even started walking down the aisle," Gervais told PEOPLE. "We did not have a first look so seeing him for the first time was a feeling I will never forget."

The bride walked down the aisle in a Galia Lahav gown to the song, "I Get to Love You," by Ruelle and the couple shared their first dance to "From the Ground Up" by Dan + Shay which served as a nod to the evolution of their romance.

"Our relationship truly started from the ground. We started dating not even a month after we met so it was definitely a 'from the ground up' process getting to know each other," Gervais said.

After their nuptials, the couple jetted off to Tahiti to celebrate their honeymoon.

Jennifer Hart brought in the new year with a bang!

The country artist married fellow musician Rob Ricotta on Jan. 1 at at Nashville's Loveless Barn.

The bride walked down the aisle in a wedding dress from Wedding Belles Bridal Boutique in Chandler, Arizona, which she accessorized with a few special pieces.

"My something old was my great grandmother's pearl ring, while my something new was pearl drop earrings my 104-year-old grandma bought me for the wedding," Hart said. "I also borrowed my sister's bracelet gifted to her from our grandpa and my something blue was a turquoise heart-shaped pendant attached to my bouquet, gifted to me by my new mother-in-law."
