Congratulations to the class of 2023! These A-list kids are kicking off their next chapters in caps and gowns

It's that time of year again! All over the country, stars are bursting with pride and emotion as their graduating kids walk across stages and move up in the academic ranks.

For some famous families, 2023 marks the year their kids prepare to fly the nest. Former high school seniors are ready to take life's next steps: Bronny James is off to play basketball at USC, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson is going to college and Drake Gaines – the eldest of Chip and Joanna's brood – is graduating too.

For others, their kids are just hitting a major milestone, whether that's moving up from Pre-K or heading to high school.

Milo Langdon

Liv Tyler's eldest son, whom she shares with ex-husband Roy Langdon, graduated from California's Thacher School at the end of June with his proud mom and siblings cheering him on.

"what a journey !! so SO soooo proud of you Milo," Tyler captioned her Instagrams from the day.

Audriana Giudice & Gabrielle Giudice

It was a celebratory few days for a very "proud" Teresa Giudice, whose youngest daughter Audriana graduated from eighth grade and second daughter Gabriella finished her time in high school ahead of her matriculation at the University of Michigan.

Earlier this year, Teresa's eldest, Gia, graduated from Rutgers University.

Hudson Anstead

Celebrity IOU host Ant Anstead said his youngest son (whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall) was "thriving and glowing" as he moved on from preschool. "Oh WOW how that year has flown by," Anstead added in his Instagram caption.

Kulture Kiari Cephus

Cardi B and Offset's daughter Kulture Kiari, who turns 5 in July, has graduated from pre-kindergarten! The "Up" rapper celebrated her mini-me's achievement on social media, sharing a carousel of photos and footage from the day.

"My baby moving on up🎓I’m a emotional proud mommy🥺🖤Give me good grades and I’ll give you the world baby 🌏," Cardi captioned her Instagram post, which featured a snap of them enjoying milkshakes after the ceremony.

Stella and Estere Ciccone

Madonna shared a darling photo of her twin daughters Stella and Estere at their elementary school graduation. The 10-year-olds held bouquets of roses and wore matching smiles, caps and gowns in a photo shared on the singer's Instagram Story.

Collin Gosselin

Collin Gosselin is finished with high school, and he celebrated with a commemorative Instagram post. The former Kate Plus 8 child star posted a few photos from his graduation ceremony, the first of which saw him and his sister, Hannah Gosselin, both 19, riding in a convertible driven by their dad, Jon Gosselin.

In his caption, Collin focused on his "gratitude for mentors, friends, and of course family," beginning with Hannah, whom he called his "number 1." Collin also gave a shout to his dad, "for always supporting my decisions, and having my back when I bite off more than I can chew."

The new grad also gave a nod to his dad's ex-girlfriend Colleen Conrad for her support, saying she is his "motivator for being successful in this world."

Justin and Jordan Rogers

Kenny Rogers' twin sons, Justin and Jordan – who turn 19 in July – carried his legacy all the way up to their high school graduation this year. The late singer's team celebrated the boys' achievement with an Instagram photo of them in caps and gowns.

"Kenny always said 'Friendships come and go, but families are forever.' Indeed," read the post's caption. "Kenny & Wanda [Miller]'s twin sons, Justin and Jordan, graduated from high school this past Friday. Please join us in congratulating them on this landmark achievement! Way to go, guys! Have fun and enjoy the ride…and may all your dreams in life come true!"

Ava Sambora

Heather Locklear has a Master in the house! The actress and her ex-husband, Richie Sambora, both attended their daughter Ava's graduation from the University of Southern California. The 25-year-old earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Locklear grabbed a pic of her daughter on the venue's big screen as her name flashed across the chyron.

"Such a proud mama. Congratulations my baby, with your masters in MFT," Locklear wrote on Instagram, continuing to praise her only child's "hard work and perseverance and kind heart."

Jaya Harper

Laura Dern's daughter Jaya Harper is officially a high school graduate!

The actress, 56, was is in proud mom mode on June 5 as she shared pictures from Jaya's graduation on her Instagram.

"The most amazing milestone to experience. My baby graduated high school," Dern captioned the carousel. In the photos, Jaya can be seen speaking during the commencement ceremony before posing with loved ones for photos.

Dern's ex-husband Ben Harper, their son Ellery, 21, and her mom Diane Ladd were all in attendance to celebrate the big day.

Dream Kardashian

Dream Kardashian is headed to first grade!

The six-year-old daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna graduated kindergarten on June 8 and her mom marked the joyous occasion with a string of cute pics on her Instagram Stories.

Mom and daughter struck various poses while smiling together in front of a giant 2035 balloon arrangement, which points to the year that Dream will graduate high school.

Sophie Kodjoe

Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe have a high school grad on their hands.

Their daughter, Sophie, graduated from Dwight School in New York City. "I’m so proud of you Soph and I’m excited to see your next chapter," proud dad Boris wrote on Instagram. "Enjoy this moment. I love you. ❤️"

Lola Eustace

Dean McDermott celebrated a special day for his blended family.

Along with son Jack Montgomery McDermott, the actor, 56, attended the graduation for 17-year-old Lola Eustace, the daughter of his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace, on June 2.

"So proud of this young lady @lolabunny.ace. She graduated yesterday!!!!!! Such a Rock Star!!" he wrote of the new high school graduate.

"The world is yours!!! The robes were so chic, I had to get in on the action. Ha Ha. Love you Lo Lo. ❤️#congrats #graduation."

Isabella and Sophia Strahan

Michael Strahan's twin daughters, Isabella and Sophia, are finished with high school! The former NFL star celebrated their achievements in a sweet Instagram post featuring both 18-year-olds, even though they attended different high schools.

The Good Morning America host detailed that Isabella was headed off to the University of Southern California, calling her "Intelligent, beautiful, and hard-working" in his caption. "I can’t wait to continue to watch you shine!! Love you! ❤️❤️ #GirlDad," Strahan added.

Two weeks earlier, Strahan posted photos from Sophia's ceremony and shared that she was off to Duke University in the fall. "You are intelligent, beautiful, and I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things you are going to accomplish at Duke," he wrote alongside two photos with Sophia.

Daniella and Jack Rucker

Darius Rucker had two graduates in his family to celebrate this year: Daughter Daniella finished up her degree at New York University, while son Jack graduated high school and is headed to NYU himself.

Rucker posted photos celebrating his kids at each of the events; on Danielle's, he wrote, "So amazingly proud of my ⁦@nyuniversity graduate. Dani go be the light that u are!," and on Jack's, "Jack u are such an amazing kid me I am so proud of u. Next stop ⁦@nyuniversity⁩. Love u so much man."

Grey Stuber

Molly Sims' son, Grey Douglas, got all dressed up for his milestone Kindergarten graduation. The model shared a carousel of photos taken on her youngest child's big day. The 6-year-old posed in a blazer and slacks alongside his sister Scarlett May, 8, his brother Brooks Alan, who turns 11 on June 19, and their dad, Scott Stuber.

"I graduated kindergarten today… Grey did too I guess 😉," read Sims' cheeky Instagram caption.

Anja Ambrosio Mazur

Time is flying for model mom Alessandra Ambrosio, whose 14-year-old daughter Anja just graduated from middle school.

"And in a blink of an eye… she’s is in high school!!! 👩‍🎓Proud of u my baby girl 🌟💫👏," Ambroisio captioned an Instagram Reel with snippets from Anja's graduation.

Gunner Pratt

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have a graduate on their hands! Their 5-year-old son, Gunner Stone, finished preschool this June, and the parents of two looked happy to celebrate him.

"Time is flying by! Gunner has graduated from preschool!" wrote Montag alongside a series of pictures taken at the ceremony. "Oh my gosh, I have had so many tears of joy and reflection. 🥺💕."

True Thompson

Khloé Kardashian celebrated her daughter True's accomplishments with a congratulatory Instagram post. "Yesterday was a big day!" the Good American founder captioned her carousel of photos. "My sweet angel girl graduated from pre-K. No! Im not ok ❤️‍🩹"

The sweet shots showed True, 5, and her mom posing together while the mini-grad held pink flowers. The last slide in the series saw Khloé's eldest – whom she shares with Tristan Thompson – relishing in the moment with her cousins Stormi and Dream.

Stormi Webster

Just like her cousin True, Kylie Jenner's little girl is moving on up! The cosmetics mogul shared an adorable photo from her 5-year-old's final day of school on Instagram.

"My sweet girl graduated pre-k today 🫶🏻💐," Jenner captioned her photo with Stormi, which saw them nose-to-nose and holding a bright bouquet of roses.

David Daniel Otunga Jr.

Jennifer Hudson is "sooo proud" of her middle school graduate son, David Daniel Otunga Jr. The TV host shared several photos from the 13-year-old's commencement ceremony.

"It’s official !!! My baby is a high schooler now," Hudson wrote on Instagram. "We had such a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends. I am sooo proud of you, DOJ ! Team Jhud can yal help give DOJ a huge congratulations ! 🎓"

Isabella Astin

Sean Astin's daughter, Isabella Louise, is a high school grad! The actor congratulated his youngest and listed a few of her academic and extracurricular highlights in a celebratory tweet.

According to her dad, Isabella – who turns 18 in July – was the president of three clubs at her high school: the environmental club, the humanities club and "the Little Big Club." The latter group – which Astin said she founded as well – focused on "connecting upper grade & lower grade classmates, mentoring, tutoring & activities," he explained.

"Now she’s on to College — #UCSB," The Goonies alum wrote, referring to Isabella's next chapter at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Aoki Lee Simmons

Kimora Lee Simmons attended two college graduations this year — first, her eldest daughter Ming Lee walked across the stage at New York University, and then her second-eldest Aoki Lee got her Harvard Degree a few weeks later.

"I feel grateful, proud and relieved — in that order! It's a surreal feeling to be done with something that was such a huge part of my life. Now, like every other graduate, I'm on to the next chapter," Aoki Lee exclusively told PEOPLE.

Harper Stephanopoulos

The youngest child of Ali Wentworth and George Stephanopoulos "is launched," according to her proud mom's Instagram. "A perpetually optimistic, joyful, generous, empathetic, fun-loving, and wise human is spreading her wings!" she wrote. "P.S. You know she is my daughter because she ran out after she graduated and got an ice cream cone across the street."

Bronny James

Bronny James is one step closer to taking the court at the University of Southern California. LeBron James shared that his eldest son had officially graduated from high school, in a post on Instagram that included photos of the graduate and his family.

"PROUD!!!! 🥺🥺🥺🙏🏾. CONGRATULATIONS & LOVE YOU KID! @bronny 👨🏾‍🎓👑," LeBron wrote beside a series of photos of the 18-year-old in his navy blue graduation ensemble. Near the end of the post, the basketball legend included a family photo with his wife Savannah, Bronny, daughter Zhuri, 8, and son Bryce, 15,

Heaven Hart

Heaven Hart is headed for college! Kevin Hart shared that his firstborn had received her high school diploma in a heartfelt post to Instagram commemorating the occasion.

“It’s not about me….It has always been about them!!!!!!! I am so proud of my little girl. I am just as proud of my niece sanny for being an amazing example for Heav…,” Hart began the caption of his post, which featured a picture of himself and Heaven. “Sanny was the first in our family to go to college and graduate…Now My little girl is heading in that same direction….”

The comedian continued the sweet tribute to his daughter by sharing how her achievements have inspired their whole family.

“Iron Sharpens Iron….it always has and always will. Ali Astin

Sean Astin is one proud dad following his daughter's graduation from Harvard University with her master’s degree in dramatic arts and anthropology.

“My dad has the biggest heart of anyone I know," Ali told PEOPLE of her dad's support. "And nowhere was that more evident than at this graduation — he stood, literally, on his tip toes for five hours in Harvard yard, just taking it all in!”

Drake Gaines

Joanna and Chip Gaines are officially parents of a high school graduate! The proud mom paid tribute to their oldest son's accomplishment with a sweet Instagram video showing photos from his childhood.

“It feels like just yesterday that we were cheering him on as he took his first steps…but last weekend, as he walked across the stage to receive his high school diploma (!!) we were cheering him on as he took his first steps into a world beyond what he’s known,” Joanna said of the 18-year-old.

“We’re so proud of you, Drake,” she added along with a red heart emoji and a hashtag of his baseball jersey number, 16.

Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell's eldest daughter has graduated elementary school! The reality star, whose sister is Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, gushed about her daughter's accomplishment in a post shared to Facebook.

“I am one proud mama right now," she wrote in part alongside photos of herself and Kaitlyn and others that included her other daughter, Kylee, and her boyfriend, Eldridge Toney.

Teen Mom's Maci Bookout cheered on her son Bentley, 14, as he graduated from middle school in May 2023. "So proud of you Benny, your next chapter is going to be amazing… find joy in the journey! 😎💙" she wrote on Instagram.

Kelly Ripa and Marc Consuelos pulled out all the stops to celebrate daughter Lola's graduation from New York University, including creating merch with her face on it and throwing her a purple-and-white graduation bash.

Kimora Lee Simmons and ex-husband Russell Simmons had two graduations to celebrate in 2023 — daughter Aoki wrapped up her time at Harvard, and daughter Ming took home her diploma from New York University.

Going to the Super Bowl wasn't enough of an accomplishment for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts in 2023 — he also graduated with a master's degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma.

Maisy Biden

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden flew to Philadelphia to support their granddaughter at her University of Pennsylvania commencement ceremony. Maisy's parents Hunter Biden and Kathleen Buhle were also in attendance, as well as her aunt Ashley Biden and older sisters Naomi and Finnegan, per AP News.

Quincy Morgan

Sonja Morgan celebrated her daughter after a successful four years at UPenn. The Real Housewives of New York star shared some word of congratulations for Quincy on Instagram alongside an on-campus portrait of her daughter.

"The proudest day of my life. My darling daughter graduated Summa Cum Laude at The University of Penn. 👩‍🎓," Sonja wrote in her caption. Andrew Cuomo and his ex-wife, Kerry Kennedy, got together with their family to celebrate 28-year-old daughter Cara graduating with a business degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.

To commemorate his daughter's accomplishment, the former New York governor shared a family photo featuring Cara's twin sister, Mariah, and their younger sister, Michaela. "Such a special day getting to celebrate her incredible accomplishment all together," Cuomo wrote in the Instagram post's caption.

Gia Giudice

This Real Housewives kid is a Rutgers grad! Teresa and Joe Giudice's daughter, Gia, finished her studies at the New Jersey university. According to the words emblazoned on her graduation sash, Gia received her degree in Criminal Justice.

Teresa shared some encouraging words for her 22-year-old in a lengthy Instagram caption.

"Seeing you graduate college is one of the most special moments in my life," read one part of the heartfelt message. "You definitely paved the path of success for your sisters, and you are an inspiration to them and me. I am so excited to see what your future holds."

Sascha Seinfeld

Jerry Seinfeld's eldest is all grown up and graduated. Mom Jessica Seinfeld congratulated Sascha on her newly minted degree.

"Thank you @dukeuniversity for launching our little rocket into the next stratosphere 🚀," Jessica captioned a carousel of Instagram photos from her daughter's big day. The series of snaps featured Sascha with her parents, friends and little brothers Shepherd, 17, and Julian, 20.

Paris Brosnan

Pierce Brosnan celebrated his son's major achievement on Instagram. "Dearest Paris, Heartfelt congratulations on your graduation from Loyola Marymount University School of Film & Television," the actor captioned a photo with 22-year-old Paris and Pierce's wife, Keely Shaye Brosnan.

The Irish star added his well wishes for his youngest of five: "Go into the world with a brave heart and create stories that will make the world a better place."

Alix Earle

Alix Earle is finished with college and moving on up, but the TikTok sensation still has a lot of love for the University of Miami. Earle shared her cap-and-gown photos and some goodbye words for her alma mater on Instagram.

"The day has finally come … 4 years ago I cried when I found out I was accepted to my dream school," the influencer wrote. "Little did I know these years would be the best years of my life. I've gained lifelong friends, made memories I'll never forget, and learned life lessons inside and out of the classroom. I've found my people, my passions, and myself along the way and I'm so excited for what's to come next."
