Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
Of course these two lovebirds were a couple on That ’70s Show, and Ashton, who is six years Mila’s senior, was her first kiss ever (onscreen). However, they were otherwise engaged (he married Demi Moore; she dated Macaulay Culkin), and Ashton would innocently help her with her chemistry homework. While they kept in touch (via AOL Instant Messenger — LOL) after the show ended, Mila told Howard Stern that she saw him post-divorce at an awards show in 2012 and everything changed. “I see this guy and I see his back and he’s really tall,” she said. “Then he just turns around and it was literally like if we were in a movie, the music would start playing … I think that he, for the first time ever, took my breath away.” Two kids later, he still does. Viola Davis and Julius Tennon
Viola’s prayers were answered when Julius entered her life. The How to Get Away With Murder star described herself as the “loneliest woman in the world” before meeting the actor. A friend advised her to “pray for a husband” and she did, adding in her request that he be “a big black man from the South who looked like a football player, who already had children, who maybe had been married before.” Three weeks later, she was introduced to the former college football star, who had two kids from previous relationships. They met on the set of TV’s City of Angels “passing blood in a scene,” she told Us Weekly. “He knew how lonely I was” and offered to show her around L.A. They married in 2003 and adopted a daughter, Genesis, in 2011. (Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images for TNT)

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello
The pair briefly met at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards and — more memorably — two years later at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, at which he was unabashedly checking her out. When she split with her fiancé, embryo seeker Nick Loeb, Joe reached out — through his friend (and her Modern Family co-star) Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Sofia said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Joe “seemed like a lot of work” because he was “so handsome and younger than me and so sexy and best bachelor or whatever he was.” However, he persuaded her in person to go out with him when he flew to Louisiana, where she was working, and got her to go on a date with him. They said “I do” in 2015. (Photo: Neilson Barnard/Getty Images)

Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford
He had her at “Dear Carey”! Sorta. In what may be the cutest of the meet-cutes, Carey and Marcus were childhood pen pals, through their church in London, who lost touch and reconnected as successful, famous adults. Carey, who had been dating Shia LaBeouf, went with pal Jake Gyllenhaal to a private Mumford and Sons show, and by the end, she was singing with the band. The notoriously private pair married in 2012 and have one child. (Photo: Splash News)

David and Victoria Beckham
David Beckham developed a thing for Victoria when he saw her in the Spice Girls’ video “Say You’ll Be There.” In a recent interview with BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Disc, he revealed that he knew she fancied him back when she started turning up at his soccer matches. “She was never into football,” he recalled. “I’d seen her the week before, and I must have caught her eye because then the week after she came to another game. She was obviously there for a reason, and I was hoping I was that reason, and apparently I was.” The couple, who have four children, married in 1999 and recently renewed their wedding vows. Aaron and Lauren Paul
They came for the music and left in love! The Path actor met his future bride, the co-founder of Kind Campaign, at the Coachella Music Festival and told her that night that he planned to marry her. One year later, again at the fest, they shared their first kiss on the Ferris wheel. The oh-so-adorable pair have been married since 2013 and are now talking babies. Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery
Ellen found love in aisle six! The Grey’s Anatomy star met the music producer at the grocery store in 2003. They were friends at first, bonding over the fact that they had grown up 10 miles from each other in Massachusetts and Ellen had met Chris’s father there. Six months later, “she just looked different to me” one night, Chris said. They married in 2007 and recently welcomed their third child, a son, via surrogate. (Photo: Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth
It all started with a drunk guy… The Oscar winner met the talent agent when he came to her rescue at a party. “This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me. He was like, [slurring, scowling, pointing a finger in her face] ‘You don’t know me.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I know. I don’t know you!’” she recalled. “Jim came over and said, ‘Please excuse my friend. He’s just broken up with someone.’ Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation. That’s just kind of who he is, a really good person.” So gallant! While she thought she’d never remarry, “Jim said, ‘I’m gonna show you every day what a good partner is… I’m gonna take care of you.’” They were wed in 2011 and added their son, Tennessee, to her brood. Meryl Streep and Don Gummer
Hollywood’s most overrated actress (chortle!) found love when she was least expecting it. After burying her partner, John Cazale, who had bone cancer, Meryl found herself having to abruptly move from their loft, and her brother came — with his friend Don — to help. Don was heading off on a trip around the world and offered to let Meryl stay in his artist loft. While he was away, they communicated (via letters!) and fell in love. Upon his arrival home, he built a room for her in the loft space and she never left. They married two months later, in 1978, and have been together ever since, raising their four children. In her 2012 Oscar speech, she gave him the ultimate shout-out, saying, “I want him to know that everything I value most in our lives you’ve given me.” Swoon. (Photo: Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP)

Fergie and Josh Duhamel
OK, so this isn’t exactly cute, but it’s certainly an unforgettable meet-up story. Former soap star Josh was starring in the short-lived show Las Vegas and was asked by InStyle to name his celebrity crush. He said the Black Eyed Peas singer and also detailed a sexy dream he had had about her. Fergie and her band later made an appearance on Las Vegas, and on the set she called him out. “’I read you had a dream,’” she later told Playboy. “I asked, ‘Was it good?’ He said it was. So we hit it off.” They married in 2009 and welcomed son Axl in 2013. (Photo: Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP)

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green
It was the old “he touched my leg” meeting for Megan and Brian when he was a guest star on Hope & Faith. “He played himself,” she told the New York Times. “Kelly Ripa’s character was kidnapping him for some crazy reason. I didn’t know who he was from 90210, but I liked him right away. Everyone was around the monitor watching a scene, and Brian accidentally touched my leg. I remember literal electricity shooting through me and out me from every direction. It was like magic.” The magic went out briefly in 2015, but the pair, who were married in 2010, reconciled the next year — and also welcomed their third son. (Photo: MediaPunch Inc./IPX)

Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink
Patrick and Jillian met at her hair salon. She saw “Patrick Dempsey” in her appointment book and thought it was a joke, but it turned out not to be. For three years he would get trims — and harmlessly flirt — with the stylist/makeup artist. When their relationships ended, they started dating each other. On their first date, he cooked pasta at his house, and three months later she moved in. They married in 1999. While their union hasn’t been without bumps, they seem to be solid now as they raise their three kids. (Photo: Joel Ryan/Invision/AP)

As if they were penned by Hollywood screenwriters, the stories of how these couples got together are pretty adorable. In honor of Valentine’s Day, we look at some of the sweetest celebrity love stories.
