Celebrities reach out to bullied boy Keaton Jones

Once in a while, the internet provides us with the perfect feel-good story to break up the usual awfulness of social media. Just in time for the holidays, Keaton Jones has lifted our spirits with his heartbreaking yet inspiring message to bullies.

The young boy from Knoxville, Tenn., sobbed in the car with his mother, Kimberly, as he explained in detail how kids at school had treated him. “They make fun of my nose,” he said through tears. “They call me ugly. They say I have no friends. They put milk on me and put ham down my clothes, throw bread at me.”

Jones posted the video onto her personal Facebook account and, immediately, people were moved by the boy’s words. The video has now been viewed more than 50 million times on Facebook and Twitter, with thousands of people reaching out to Keaton with words of encouragement.

Celebrities also chimed in with their support, including Justin Bieber, who shared a personal video for Keaton.

Keaton is now the most sought-after kid on the internet. He’s received many invites to sporting events and even Hollywood movie premieres. Hailee Steinfeld invited Keaton as her date to the Pitch Perfect 3 premiere this week, and Chris Evans wants him and his mom to attend the Avengers: Infinity War premiere next year.
