Celebrities arriving for fashion's biggest night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art are embracing the "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" theme and "Garden of Time" dress code. A-listers poured onto the Met Gala's green carpet on May 6, hued to match the garden and floral vibe of the event.

Gala Co-Chairs Embrace Florals

The host of the event, Vogue's Anna Wintour, turned up wearing custom Loewe white dress and a long black overcoat emblazoned with red and yellow flowers and green leaves, very much on theme for the night.

She declined to elaborate when asked earlier by The Today Show's Jenna Bush Hager about whether she'd be wearing florals at the gala, but it appears she is embracing the night's garden theme.

Bad Bunny, one of the event's co-chairs, looked cool on the carpet in a custom black Maison Margiela Artisanal Collection by John Galliano. He held a bouquet of black flowers in a nod to the evening's theme.

Zendaya, a co-chair of the event, went peacock chic in a dramatic blue-and-green, one-shouldered gown, also by Maison Margiela Artisanal by John Galliano. She also sported a veiled hat.

Attendees Go Garden Glam

"Schitt's Creek" star Dan Levy wowed the crowd in a half-black, half-floral Loewe tux.

Journalist Deborah Roberts—and wife to Al Roker—also remained on trend in a green and yellow number with a leafy green headpiece.

Actress Jessica Serfaty went full-force into the garden theme, sporting a dramatic, vibrant cape bedecked with giant flowers and opera-length bright pink gloves. She also revealed a stunning, low-cut pink gown underneath.

Actress Rebecca Hall nailed the floral theme in a dreamy Danielle Frankel gown with a matching cape and gloves.

A pregnant Lea Michele channeled Mother Nature in an icy blue one-shouldered gown adorned with flowers. She topped off the look with a dramatic tulle train.

Others Opt For Understated Elegance

Model Gigi Hadid showed up looking like an old Hollywood star in an understated white frock with a yellow rose emblazoned on the front. She held a bouquet of yellow flowers as an accessory.

Actress Madelyn Cline opted for an effortless, cream-colored custom Tommy Hilfiger gown with white roses adorning the frock.

Lily James wore a soft pink Erdem gown emblazoned with black floral silhouettes.
