How are you ringing in 2024? Maybe you're tuning in to the Times Square Ball Drop on television, clanking champagne glasses with family or boogying 2023 away with friends.
The News-Leader compiled a list of 17 different New Year's Eve parties, ranging from masquerade balls to karaoke jams and festivities for children, in Springfield surrounding communities.
New Year's Rockin' Eve at 1984
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 from 5 p.m. to midnight
Where: 1984 at 400 S. Jefferson Ave.
1984 is celebrating the New Year with party favors and pop trivia, an unlimited amount of quarters for pinball and the claw machine and a midnight balloon drop. Admission to 1984 is $10 at the door, which includes unlimited access to all of the arcade games for the day. Both cash and card are accepted.
"Moulin Rouge" at Martha's Vineyard
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 at 8:30 p.m.
Where: Martha's Vineyard at 219 W. Olive St.
Martha's Vineyard is hosting a production of "Moulin Rouge" — pulling both from the 2001 film and Broadway musical — in celebration of the New Year. The film and musical tell the story of The Moulin Rouge, the most renowned club in Paris, which encompasses freedom, beauty, truth and love. In addition to the production, guests may enjoy a free champagne toast at midnight and free digital photo booth. Classic and classy attire is encouraged to get in the mood. The best dressed individual or couple will receive a $100 bar tab.
A cabaret-inspired pre-show starts at 8:30 p.m. and the "Moulin Rouge" production kicks off at 10:30 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults 21 and up and $20 for adults 18-20.
Black and White New Year's Eve Party
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to midnight
Where: 4 By 4 Brewing Company at 9003 Sawgrass Ave. in Nixa
4 By 4 Brewing Company's Fremont Hills location is hosting a New Year's Eve party, featuring a buffet, DJ, party favors and champagne. Guests are encouraged to wear black and white, dressed as casual or formal as they'd like.
Split Social will provide a buffet from 6-8 p.m. and other snacks at their food truck, The Mule, from 8 p.m. to midnight. Cross Entertainment will DJ throughout the evening. New Year's Eve-themed party favors will be distributed to guests and a photo booth will be available.
Tickets are available for $50 on Eventbrite. At-the-door tickets will be available starting at 8 p.m., while supplies last.
Better Life in Recovery Masquerade Ball at DoubleTree
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: DoubleTree by Hilton at 2431 N. Glenstone Ave.
The Springfield DoubleTree's masquerade ball will kick off with a formal dinner, followed by live entertainment from a local band, dancing and a professional photographer snapping photos. Free childcare will be available with plenty of activities, including a magician, face painting and glow party. Tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple.
Jukebox Hero and Randall Shreve at Oasis
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. to Monday, Jan. 1 at 1 a.m.
Where: Oasis Hotel & Convention Center at 2546 N. Glenstone Ave.
Springfield talent Jukebox Hero, Randall Shreve and Dallas Jones will be performing at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center on New Year's Eve.
Three different price packages are available. Package one is $50 per person and includes access to Jukebox Hero and Randall Shreve's performances, glow-in-the-dark party favors, a cash bar, champagne toast and glow balloon drop. Admission starts at 8 p.m. Package two is $90 per person and includes all package one benefits, plus a four-course dinner that starts at 7 p.m. The VIP package is an additional $30 with the purchase of package one or two with preferred seating, appetizers from 6-7 p.m., a complimentary champagne wall and entertainment by Dallas Jones. MAXIMUM WEEKEND at Springfield Brewing Company
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 from 7-11:45 p.m.
Where: Springfield Brewing Company at 301 S. Market Ave.
Springfield Brewing Company is hosting MAXIMUM WEEKEND, The Kursk, The Hook Knives and a special EDM set from Molly Healey for its New Year's Eve party. Tickets will be $20 at the door.
Masquerade Ball at 417 Taphouse
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m.
Where: 417 Taphouse at 431 S. Jefferson Ave. Suite 160
417 Taphouse is hosting a masquerade ball for its NYE celebration, featuring a tarot card reader, confetti and champagne, along with food and drinks specials. A costume contest will also be held throughout the evening.
New Year's Eve Bash at Friend's Karaoke Pub
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m.
Where: Friend's Karaoke Pub at 1211 W. Battlefield Road
Friend's Karaoke Pub's New Year's Eve Bash will feature party favors for guests, a champagne toast, a ticket raffle for prizes and of course, karaoke. Tickets are required for entry. To purchase a ticket, visit the pub ahead of New Year's Eve.
New Year's Eve Swing Dance
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 from 8-11 p.m.
Where: Dance With Me at 224 E. Commercial St.
Located on C-Street, Dance with Me's New Year's Eve party is themed New York Style. The party will include hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, champagne toast, live DJ, party favors and selfie booth. New Year's Eve Bash at Midnight Rodeo

Where: Midnight Rodeo at 1773 S. Glenstone Ave.
Midnight Rodeo is hosting DJ Tommy T for its New Year's Eve Bash. Cash and prizes will be distributed throughout the night. A balloon drop and champagne toast will kick off at midnight. To reserve a table, call 417-882-0309.
Pythian Castle
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m.
Where: Pythian Castle at 1451 E. Pythian St.
Pythian Castle's annual New Year's Eve party kicks off with dinner in the ballroom, followed by a Clue-inspired adventure game in the castle's basement at 9 p.m. A live DJ and dessert will be available in the theater, starting at 10 p.m. and a champagne toast will be held at midnight. The Dirty Saints at Archie's Lounge

Where: Archie's Lounge at 1817 E. Grand St.
Springfield band The Dirty Saints is performing at Archie's Lounge for New Year's Eve. The dive bar is hosting costume contests for the best dressed man and woman, who will both receive $50 gift certificates. A $100 gift certificate will be awarded to the best dressed couple. A balloon drop and champagne toast will be held at midnight.

The Mixtapes at the Gillioz Theatre
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 at 9 p.m.
Where: Gillioz Theatre at 325 Park Central East
The Gillioz Theatre's New Year's Eve party is Mardi Gras themed. Guests are encouraged to break out their favorite masks and beads for the evening. Springfield '90s cover band The Mixtapes will provide live entertainment throughout the evening.
Tickets are available on the Gillioz Theatre website, starting at $30. VIP tickets are also available, which include reserved seating at the concert, access to a VIP lounge and grazing bar, a VIP medallion and a VIP Mardi Gras gift box. VIP tickets are $150 for two, $300 for a group of four and $450 for a group of six.
Josh Blue at Blue Room Comedy Club
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 at 10:30 p.m.
Where: Blue Room Comedy Club at 420 W. College St.
Comedian Josh Blue gained national attention after he won NBC's "Last Comic Standing." He is known for his self-deprecating humor that centers around his Cerebral Palsy. Tickets to Blue's 10:30 p.m. show include party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.
Finley Farms
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. to Monday, Jan. 1 at 1 a.m.
Where: The Riverside Room at Finley Farms at 802 Finley Farms Lane in Ozark
Finley Farms is offering two different New Year's Eve activities to welcome 2024. The first is a New Orleans-themed party, starting at 9 p.m., with live jazz music, dancing, hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. Guests will receive one complimentary welcome cocktail and are encouraged to participate in the champagne toast at midnight. The second is a coursed dinner, followed by access to the New Year's Eve party. Dinner starts at 7 p.m.

Wisner Bar's New Year's Eve Party at 14 Mill Market
When: Sunday, Dec. 31 at 9 p.m.
Where: 14 Mill Market at 203 E. Mt. Vernon St. in Nixa
Wisner Bar is hosting its New Year's Eve Party at 14 Mill Market, which will include live music from Adam McCabe, dancing, a complimentary champagne toast and food available for purchase from Lindsay's Kitchen all night. Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite cocktail attire.
The party is for adults 18 and up. Tickets are $20 in advance or $30 at the door. Tickets are available on the 14 Mill Market website.

New Year's Eve at Top of the Rock

Where: Top of the Rock at 150 Top of the Rock Road in Ridgedale
Top of the Rock in Ridgedale is hosting several different New Year's Eve festivities:
Grandview Conference Center at 9 p.m.: Dinner, fireworks and a dance party ($99 per person, 21+ only)
Harry's Cocktail Lounge & Bar from 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: Fireworks, live jazz New Year's Eve-themed treats (21+ only)
Osage Restaurant from 4-10 p.m.: Regional cuisine featuring unique artwork and Native American artifacts ($125 per person)
Buffalo Bar from 4-10 p.m.: Dinner celebration ($125 per person)
The Historic Worman House from 5-10 p.m.: Custom-themed cocktails and gourmet food overlooking Table Rock Lake ($150 per person)
Kids Party at Kids Discovery Center from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.: Dinner, bowling, laser tag, face painting, balloon animals and a dance party for children 4-12 ($100 per child)
