Celebrate National S'mores Day with next-level creations by Indianapolis chefs

Downtown Indy’s Monument Circle keeps hosting events that bring smiles.

On Aug. 10, S'mores on the Circle returns for National S’mores Day featuring $5 gourmet treats.

The event features next-level s’mores or s’mores-inspired desserts created by local chefs.

Last year’s conceptions included Tyler Mulkey’s Pistachio Trefoil Mint Citrus Chocolate S'mores and Hannah Thompson’s Maxine's Whimsies chocolate cupcakes filled with marshmallow fluff, vanilla buttercream, toasted coconut and chocolate drizzle.

The 2023 chefs include:

  • Erin Kem — Nicole-Taylor’s Pasta + Market

  • Kathy Jones — Iozzo's Garden of Italy

  • Chris Albano — Levy Restaurants

  • Erica Oakley — Top Out Café at North Mass Boulder

  • A.J. Feeney — Books, Bourbon & Bacon

  • Laney Glick — Second Helpings

  • Lynsey Delp — S’morescicles

  • Hannah Thompson — Maxine's on Green

S’mores on the Circle takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cash and Venmo will be the only accepted forms of payment.

All proceeds will go toward financial assistance to support Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.

It’s the latest treat-centric event to hit the circle recently following the June 8 annual Indy Strawberry Festival sale of strawberry shortcakes to raise funds for local and international charities and the Moose Tracks Ice Cream 10,000 Scoop Challenge ice cream giveaway on July 27 benefit The Salvation Army of Central Indiana’s Ruth Lilly Women and Children’s Center.
