Celebrate Free Comic Book Day in the QCA!

Celebrate your love of comics and take a journey to a galaxy far, far away!

Free Comic Book Day is a yearly event designed for both the curious and seasoned comic book fans to discover new titles and enjoy old favorites. Participating libraries and shops across the world invite readers to pick up some free comics and share their love of favorite titles, franchises and characters.

This year, Free Comic Book Day lands on May the 4th, Star Wars Day, and you can enjoy some of the best fun across the galaxy at these participating Quad-City libraries:

Davenport Public Library: May the 4th Star Wars Celebration / Free Comic Book Day, Saturday, May 4, 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Eastern Avenue Branch, 6000 Eastern Ave., Davenport. For more information, click here.

Silvis Public Library: Free Comic Book Day – Comic Class with Draw Me Bill, Saturday, May 4, 12:00 p.m. (ages 10-13) and 1:30 p.m. (ages 14-18). Spots are limited. Registration is required. For more information or to register, click here.
