Movie-viewers can say “Come on, Barbie, let’s go party” with these five Greater Columbus events celebrating the premiere of the long-awaited “Barbie” movie on July 21.

The film, directed by the widely acclaimed Greta Gerwig, has stirred up lots of excitement since its first teaser trailer was released last December, and a robust marketing campaign has followed suit. Joining the ranks of Airbnb’s Malibu Barbie Dream House, Béis’s “Barbie Suitcase” and Microsoft’s “Barbie Xbox,” businesses in Greater Columbus are introducing Barbie-branded fun throughout this month to commemorate the ‘fantastic ... plastic’ figure.

Fat Babes Club of Columbus and Gateway Film Center are among the local groups bringing Barbie Land to central Ohio. Read below to learn about five events open to the public.
