The Minnesota Vikings made a surprising move by releasing veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen in the first week of free agency, and with his departure, the team will need to find a replacement for his services, possibly through the upcoming NFL Draft.
CBS Sports Josh Edwards released a mock draft on Thursday that had the Vikings replacing Thielien by selecting USC wide receiver Jordan Addison.
Minnesota has made the decision to move on from Adam Thielen. The Vikings need someone to compliment Justin Jefferson in the passing game, and Jordan Addison can be that player long-term.-Edwards
Addison has impressive speed and agility, along with excellent hands and route-running abilities. With these tools, Addison has the potential to be a dynamic playmaker at the next level.
Should Minnesota draft him, Addison would complement Justin Jefferson by presenting opposing defenses with coverage dilemmas. Addison has the ability to create separation, which could allow him to take advantage of teams double-teaming Jefferson.
