CBS Buys Legal Investigative Drama From Kennedy/Marshall

CBS has put in development a legal drama procedural from the Kennedy/Marshall Company and CBS Television Studios.

Written and executive produced by Andy Parker (USA pilot Stanistan), the untitled project centers on a U.S. senator who withdraws from office in the wake of a life-changing crisis to join his brother’s private investigation law firm, unearthing the truth in high-profile and top-secret cases, wherever that truth may lead.

Frank Marshall (Sully) and Robert Zotnowski (House of Cards) will executive produce for the Kennedy/Marshall Company, which has been based at CBS Television Studios.

Kennedy/Marshall also has documentary Finding Oscar, executive produced by Steven Spielberg, about the Dos Erros massacre in Guatemala, which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in September.

Parker is repped by Gersh, manager Melinda Jason, and attorney Jonathan Shikora. The Kennedy/Marshall Company is repped by CAA and attorney Alan Hergott.
