Catherine Zeta-Jones Debuts 15-Year-Old Daughter Carys’ Singing Talents: 'You're Exceptional'
Catherine Zeta-Jones is a proud mom!
On Friday, Zeta-Jones, 49, shared a sweet throwback clip of her 15-year-old daughter Carys singing and playing the piano on Instagram.
“International women’s day. My daughter Carys as a babe. But, today, with her amazing outlook on the world… and her ambitions to create a better one… you are exceptional,” Zeta-Jones, who parents Carys and son Dylan, 18, with husband Michael Douglas, captioned the video.
In the clip, Carys can be seen belting her heart out while wearing a floral dress and sandals.

The moving post comes just a few days after Zeta-Jones bonded with Carys and Dylan at the Wales’ National Gala in New York City on March 1.
The Academy Award-winning actress and her lookalike daughter both opted for color-coordinating dark red gowns for the evening.
Meanwhile, the star’s son, who also bears a striking resemblance to his famous parents, looked dapper in a classic suit.
Wales’ National Day is the feast date of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales. At the event, Zeta-Jones, who was born and raised in Wales in the U.K., received an honorary degree from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
In February, Douglas, 74, Zeta-Jones and Carys stepped out for the Michael Kors show during New York Fashion Week.
Douglas and Zeta-Jones wore matching monochromatic looks, with Douglas’s royal blue suit and sweater pairing well with Zeta-Jones’ striking dark red dress. Their daughter, on the other hand, opted for stylish light-washed jeans with a flower-patterned cropped jacket.
Of course, this wasn’t the family’s first fashion outing. A couple of months prior, Zeta-Jones and Carys attended the Michaels Kors Fall NYFW.

The mother-daughter date happened just a few days after Town & Country honored Carys at its 50 Modern Swans party, which her parents also attended.
The pair appeared together on the cover of the magazine’s Modern Swans & Living Legends cover of its September issue.
“Fashion has been so important in my life, because my mom is like a fashion icon to me,” Carys told Town & Country. “I’m always looking through her closet.”

The Chicago star returned the compliment and commended her daughter’s style as well.
“She’s modern but age-appropriate,” Zeta-Jones said. “I’ve never had to turn to Carys and say, ‘I think that’s a little inappropriate.’ Once she said, ‘Mom, I really like this romper.’ I went, ‘Mmm, but don’t you think it’s cut a little too long? Shouldn’t it be shorter?’ She went, ‘Mom, you’re the only mother in the world that would tell a 15-year-old girl that the romper should be shorter.’ ”
