Catherine Keener Gets In ‘Get Out’ For Jordan Peele

EXCLUSIVE: Two-time Oscar nominee Catherine Keener has landed a key role in Get Out, Key & Peele alum Jordan Peele’s fresh take on the horror-thriller genre that he wrote and will direct. Plot details are under wraps, but the pic centers on a young African-American man who visits his white girlfriend’s family estate. Allison Williams and Daniel Kaluuya are also starring in the film, which QC Entertainment and Blumhouse Productions are producing. Keener’s character wasn’t revealed.

Keener, who scored Supporting Actress Oscar noms for Capote and Being John Malkovich, most recently appeared in director Paul Haggis’ HBO miniseries Show Me A Hero. Other recent credits include Captain Phillips, Begin Again and animated feature The Croods. She will reprise her voice role in that pic’s 2017 sequel. Next up is the crime drama November Criminals, opposite Chloe Grace Moretz and Ansel Elgort. She is repped by Gersh.
