Cate Blanchett is downsizing her real estate portfolio.

The Tár actress, 54, is putting her longtime home located near Melbourne, Australia up for auction, according to Mansion Global. The three-bed, two-bathroom home, located in the inner suburb of Prahran (not far from the town of Ivanhoe, where the star was born), is represented by realtors Kay & Burton. It has a starting price of approximately $1.47 million and will go on the block Mar. 9.

Blanchett and her husband Andrew Upton reportedly purchased the home in 2006.

The home has a contemporary design, with large, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the verdant surrounding garden and crisp white walls and floors throughout the interior. One side of the facade features dark gray, painted wood while the other has a natural finish.

The listing describes the two-floor home as a “tranquil oasis,' thanks to its open floor plan and seamless connection to the outdoors from all the main living spaces.

The second floor is dedicated to two private bedrooms, which feature dark hardwood floors and built-in white wardrobes. It also houses a lounge, an office nook and a loft.

Other amenities that come with the home include a spacious outdoor deck, private garden, solar panels and off-street parking.

According to Architectural Digest, Blanchett has made the U.K. her primary base, residing in a home that was reportedly once owned by Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The Carol actress has already seen her two eldest children — Dashiell, 22, and Roman, 19 — leave the nest for college. She also has two younger children: Ignatius, 16, and Edith, 8.

The star notably serves as a council member for Prince William's Earthshot Prize awards. She even made a surprise appearance at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival in June, dancing during The Sparks’ performance of “The Girl is Crying in Her Latte."
