Cast of 'Thor: Ragnarok' remakes film as live play
On The Late Show with James Corden, the cast of Thor: Ragnarok surprised an audience at an early screening of the film to act out scenes from the movie.
After the movie had already started, Corden stopped it and addressed the crowd, who were soon surprised by Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, dressed as Thor … mostly. Hemsworth was joined by Tom Hiddleston and Cate Blanchett — Loki and Hela in the film, respectively. The three acted out a scene in which, as can happen in a live performance, not everything went as planned.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. Jeff Goldblum, who plays Grandmaster in the film, came out on a scooter. But as he informed Thor that he’d have to fight the Hulk, he seemed to be more in the character of Jeff Goldblum than Grandmaster.
After an epic fight between Thor and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) it was time for the final battle. Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie, joined the fight to take out a couple of inanimate objects before Thor took on Hela and the audience got to see how the movie ends.
