  • A new Michael Jackson movie is expected to arrive in April 2025.

  • Michael Jackson's nephew Jaafar Jackson will play the singer in the biopic.

  • Here is how the cast looks compared to the real-life people.

The main cast for the new Michael Jackson movie has been set, with the singer's nephew in the leading role.

Last year, Deadline reported that Antoine Fuqua would direct "Michael," a drama about Jackson's life. A week later, Michael Jackson's 26-year-old nephew, Jaafar Jackson, was cast to play him.

In the past year, Miles Teller, Nia Long, and Oscar-nominee Colman Domingo have also been cast in the movie.

Here is what the cast of "Michael" looks like compared to the real-life people.

While he was alive, Jackson was investigated by the LAPD after allegations he molested four young boys. Five men have now come forward claiming that Jackson sexually abused them.

Jackson was acquitted during a criminal trial in 2005 and died in 2009.

A 2019 documentary about the scandal, "Leaving Neverland," put new focus on the case.
