Cass McCombs Shares New Song “The Wine of Lebanon”: Listen

Cass McCombs has released the new single “The Wine of Lebanon.” In a press release, McCombs said the track “centers around the line: ‘what can I offer you?’” He adds, “It is about ritual offerings to the departed and wine as allegory for life.” Listen to “The Wine of Lebanon” below.

McCombs sings and plays piano on “The Wine of Lebanon.” The single also has Dan Iead on electric guitar and pedal steel, Frank Locrasto on Rhodes and synth, Noga Shefi on bass, and Yoni Shelig on drums.

Last year, Cass McCombs released his new record Tip of the Sphere. He also issued his debut poetry collection Toy Fabels.
