Carson Daly Relives His ‘TRL’ Days, Heidi Klum Joins Ellen and Other Daytime TV Halloween Shenanigans

It was Halloween on Monday, and once again, the stars of daytime TV spared no expense — and no amount of dignity — when it came to their costumes. Today went with a ’90s theme, complete with odes to Pulp Fiction, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Regis and Kathie Lee, Steve Urkel, and of course, a puffy-shirt-wearing Matt Lauer as Jerry Seinfeld. And to walk us all through it, Carson Daly appeared as himself from the hit 90s MTV show, Total Request Live.

The View chose a cartoon theme, which included Whoopi Goldberg as Marge Simpson from The Simpsons and Raven-Symoné as Eric Cartman from South Park.

Ellen DeGeneres went as singer Sia, and enlisted the help of Heidi Klum as Sia’s dancer.

Kelly Ripa donned multiple costumes, as has been her tradition over the last few years. She appeared as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad, Negan from The Walking Dead, and Alexander Hamilton from the popular Broadway musical of the same name.

Presidential nominees Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were well-represented. Ripa dressed as Trump, and guest host Jerry O’Connell as Clinton on Live. But our vote goes to Good Day New York hosts Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto, who both did solid impressions of the candidates.
