Carrie Underwood revisits her traumatic fall on ‘Ellen’

Last November, Carrie Underwood took a nasty spill that resulted in 40 to 50 facial stitches. Earlier this year, she gave multiple similar interviews about what happened after she fell up the stairs. So nearly a year after her fall, Ellen DeGeneres tried to get a new scoop on the story — even though pretty much everything’s been said. Underwood has run through the nitty-gritty before — she was alone, her son was asleep upstairs, she chipped her tooth — but she did confess to Ellen that physically, she thinks she looks “a little bit” different after the fall. Shortly after the accident, Underwood told fans that she may look different. She told Ellen that it was to prevent a false narrative from emerging. She said her “biggest worry” was getting picked apart online or by the media. “Just being under a microscope, I feel like people are going to say, ‘What has she done to herself?’” she said. Underwood wanted to make sure that nobody ran with the false story that she “electively” did something to herself.
