From Avengers to Carrie Underwood, A-listers rock wrinkles in epic FaceApp transformations

Much like the rest of the internet, celebrities can't get enough of the FaceApp transformation trend.

From Gordon Ramsey to Snooki to Carrie Underwood, a number of celebs gave fans a sneak peek into what they could look like in a few decades via the iOS and Android mobile app, which allows users to apply filters to photos of themselves that reveal what they might look like in old age. When users add the filter, they can see their selfies turn into elderly versions of themselves – with wrinkles, gray hair and all.

Sharing a photo of himself rocking gray hair on Instagram Tuesday, Drake turned his transformation into a contest for free tickets to OVO Fest this August in Toronto.

"Best caption wins ovo tickets," he wrote on a picture of his aged self looking to the side with his hands in his pockets.

Some entries?

"Ended at the Top," one user commented, referencing the rapper's hit song "Started from The Bottom."

"When she says she’s into older guys," wrote another. "#grandpapi"

Sam Smith also got in on the trend, showing off wrinkles while rocking heart-shaped earrings.

"Grandpa or Grandma?" he wrote. "I’ll take both #batch"

Jeremy Renner showed the "Avengers" cast looking aged but heroic.

"Wow!! When ENDGAME is truly the END of the line... hahaha !" he wrote on Instagram.

20-year-old artist Lil Nas X also gave his Instagram followers a glimpse into what his future may hold.

The Fab Five from Netflix's "Queer Eye" used the app to prove friendship ages well.

"Tag your besties that you’ll grow old with," Bobby Berk wrote with the photo on Instagram.

Music manager Scooter Braun used his FaceApp photo in an Instagram post that perhaps references his feud with Taylor Swift that made waves last month.

"Last couple of weeks have really taken a toll on me," he wrote on Instagram.

Gordon Ramsey used the app to joke about the future of "Master Chef."

"Me hosting #MasterChef Season 50......#faceapp," he wrote.

Diplo used the app to match a chiseled body with a wrinkled face.

America's most accomplished athletes are not exempt from faux-aging via FaceApp, either.

"Been #dubnationsince day 1," NBA star Stephen Curry wrote on Instagram.

LeBron James also revealed what he could look like when his basketball days are long behind him.

"Man I don’t care what y’all say I’m taking a 'Load Management' game off tonight!" he wrote on Instagram. "I’ve earned it..."

Zachary Levi noticed the app makes him look like a certain "Toy Story" actor.

"So the older I get, the more I look like @tomhanks?" he wrote. "I’m good with it."

The "Jersey Shore" cast showed what a toll too much tanning can take on the face, with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley sharing their aged looks on Instagram.

Carrie Underwood joined in on the trend, too.

The singer, 36, took to Instagram Tuesday to share a photo of what she would look like in her old age.

"Everybody’s doing it...," she captioned the photo of her face with wrinkles, adding the shrugging emoji. She also tagged her husband, Mike Fisher, who is in the photo with matching wrinkles.

Followers have gotten a kick out of the photo.

Singer Trevor McNevan wrote, "Lookin’ good team! Like a fine wine!!!"

Another commenter joked, "I don’t get it. What looks different?"

The Jonas Brothers also posted a transformed photo.

"When you take a trip to the Year 3000," they captioned the picture.

Ludacris also posted a photo with "Fast & Furious" co-star Tyrese Gibson.

"Fast & Furious 50 😂😂😂 and we still haven’t stopped at a gas station. Or for Diapers. 💪🏽" he joked.

FaceApp seems all fun and games, but some privacy and security experts have raised eyebrows over its privacy policy, expressing concerns that users granting the St. Petersburg, Russian-based FaceApp access to photos on their smartphones is a grand giveaway of privacy and personal information.

Users often grant access to their photos – and to their Facebook account – to use the app, but FaceApp's Terms of Service and Privacy notifications don't explain how deep its access may go.
