Carrie Underwood hangs out with Post Malone at his concert and meets his mom

Carrie Underwood is a fan of rap music.

The country star went to Post Malone's concert in her hometown of Nashville Wednesday and shared a photo to Instagram of her and the "White Iverson" artist hanging out.

Underwood rocked a sequined camouflage top, while Post Malone sported a tie-dye shirt with a unicorn on it and held up a peace sign.

"Thanks @postmalone for the hospitality tonight...and for putting on a great show," the "Cry Pretty" artist captioned her post.

Underwood also thanked the rapper for "introducing me to your mom."

Post Malone's Nashville concert came just a day after a destructive tornado touched down in the city.

He opened his performance by sharing "my biggest prayer and my biggest love" to those in Middle Tennessee affected by deadly tornadoes.

"Anybody in here who might have any relation, I just wanna say my prayers and my biggest faith is with everybody here," he said. "Thank you so much for coming out tonight, ladies and gentlemen. And staying strong, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you so much for tonight."

While Underwood wasn't in Nashville at the time of the tornado, her husband Mike Fisher and their two young sons Isaiah and Jacob experienced a scary night.

"He said he had to go upstairs at like 2 a.m. and grab the boys and take them down to, we have like a little safe room in our house ... I bet everyone was crying at 2 a.m., like freaking out," she said during an appearance on the "Today" show Tuesday morning.

She added that right now everyone is mostly "assessing" the situation and texting friends an family members to check that they are safe.
