Who’s On The Carpet: ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ Season 3 Premiere

On Nov. 30, the hit Starz show, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, held an exclusive premiere in New York City ahead of its season three debut and season four renewal, on Friday (Dec. 1).

The event saw many stars in attendance including cast members Patina Miller, Mekai Curtis, London Brown, Malcolm Mays, Joey Bada$$, Hailey Kilgore, Shanley Caswell, Antonio Ortiz, Grantham Coleman, Wendell Pierce, and more.

Not only did viewers get a teaser into what’s to come this season, but they were also invited to watch a live cypher curated by On The Radar. The freestyle event included rappers Lakeyah, Connie Diiamond, Big Boss Vette, K Carbon, Don Q, Ytb Fatt, SleazyWorld Go, and the show’s star, Curtis.

The official Raising Kanan season three trailer premiered last month, opening with Raq (Patina Miller) declaring that she’s “done.” She says to Kanan (Curtis), “I’m done doing what I been doing. From here on, everything gon’ be different.” The season picks up where the explosive second season left off — in Southside Jamaica, Queens tracking the Mob’s hit on Raq, Marvin (Marvin Brown), and Lou-Lou (Malcolm Mays).

Power Book III: Raising Kanan is out now, airing Fridays on STARZ at 8 PM ET.
