Carnage Announces Road Rave Drive-In Festival

DJ and producer Carnage has announced Road Rave—a drive-in festival at Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando. Carnage announced the event earlier today (May 14), referring to the fest as “the first ever North American festival in Corona history.” Road Rave is slated to take place June 6 and will feature sets by Carnage, Riot Ten, Gravedgr, and more.

Carnage’s claim of it being the “first” festival has been challenged by another drive-in Florida festival announcement. Preakness At Home’s Drive-InFieldFest will take place on Saturday (May 16) at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. D-Nice will perform for first responders in their cars.

Yesterday, the Texas Rangers announced their own drive-in live music series. “Concert in Your Car,” will be hosted in the parking lot of its baseball stadium in Arlington, Texas, and feature shows by Eli Young Band, Whiskey Myers, Pat Green, and the Josh Abbott Band & Kevin Fowler.

Recently, the city of Aarhus, Denmark, hosted a 500-capacity concert for the singer Mads Langer, and L.A. nonprofit radio station Dublab hosted a drive-in concert in March, just before the city banned large gatherings.
