Carmelo Hayes vs. Baron Corbin Added To 5/10 WWE SmackDown

Baron Corbin will face Carmelo Hayes in a King of the Ring tournament match on WWE SmackDown.

WWE took to Twitter to announce that Carmelo Hayes will take on Baron Corbin in a first-round match of the King of the Ring tournament on May 10. The two stars previously feuded in NXT, and they will clash in Corbin’s return to the main roster. WWE noted that the match would be presented by the Max streaming service.

This will mark Corbin’s first match on the main roster since June 2023, as he had a prominent run in NXT. He won the NXT Tag Team Championship with Bron Breakker during his time there.
