Carl Radke Sheds New Light on Car Fight With Lindsay Hubbard
Filling in the blanks. Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s curious car ride drama on last week’s episode of Summer House had viewers scratching their heads. It seemed overly dramatic that the Loverboy employee was so upset about his fiance staying back a few hours to go to Dockers restaurant with Danielle Olivera.
Perhaps there was some slick editing done. As if to confirm that there were some blanks to fill, both Carl and Lindsay offered some more information as to why her taking “some space” was so controversial.
Carl claimed Lindsay “wasn’t considering anything” during that fight
Carl spoke about his curiously dramatic emotions during the Summer House Season 8 After Show.
“This is the first time since I’ve actually been hanging out with you, as friends and also in a relationship, that I’m not driving back from the Hamptons to New York City [with you],” he explained. “And if I’m not riding with you, I think it would warrant a conversation of why. She was frustrated and angry at me, and she needed space, that’s fine, and she does describe that, but she wasn’t considering anything outside of her own self.”
It seems that Carl wanted to be consulted first before Lindsay decided to spend the afternoon with Danielle.
“It was also, I found, to be very disrespectful for her not to go, ‘Babe, I need some space. Do you mind taking the bags back? I’ll catch up with you a little bit later,'” he explained.
Carl wanted to share an “amazing experience” with Lindsay
But the outstanding information is that Carl was “upset and frustrated” that Lindsay ultimately missed a “fun date” that the Bravolebrity had planned.
“I also had tickets to a soccer game,” he added. “I thought, in my eyes, that it could be, like, a fun date…I get tickets to this soccer game that we get VIP on the field. Free drinks, free food. It’s an amazing experience… Then come the weekend, we were fighting, and she was like, ‘F-ck your soccer game.'”
Lindsay shared her point of view, and she was decidedly underwhelmed by the event.
“Not only do I not want to go to a soccer game with you, because you put me through two full days of absolute hell, but I don’t even want to ride home with you,” she explained. “I need a f-cking minute.”
“The reason he wanted me to go to that soccer game is because he needed somebody of equal status to go to the soccer game as an influencer,” Lindsay cynically stated.
And the duo had just spent the weekend fighting about Carl’s career plans, or lack thereof.
Unbothered, Carl went to the game by himself and “had a great time.”
“Tried to talk to Lindsay. We fought. Slept in separate bedrooms,” Carl described what happened once they reunited in their New York City apartment.
Though cameras were not there to catch the fallout, Carl described it as a “pivotal moment…in the summer.”
