Carl Radke Reveals Huge Career Move After BravoCon

Carl Radke is reinventing himself, professionally at least. During BravoCon, the Summer House star revealed new and exciting endeavors. Some people really flourish after a break up, and Carl’s career is on the up.

The former Loverboy VP left the company after a disagreement with the company’s founder, and fellow Summer House co-star, Kyle Cooke. Some viewers felt the Kyle’s strained friendship with Lindsay Hubbard contributed to, not only Carl leaving Loverboy, but to the dissolution of their engagement.

But now, Carl is focusing on his career and branching out into an exciting new forum.

Carl’s career: Working is “a good way to heal”

On November 8, Carl shared a series of photos from a film set to his Instagram page. He captioned the photos, “That’s a wrap on [A Love Like This].”

Carl’s name comes up as executive producer alongside director, John Asher. The movie stars Emmanuelle Chriqui and Hayes MacArthur.

It seems that John and Carl coordinated their social media announcements because the director also shared an Instagram post November 8.

“I just spent 12 days directing a movie that nobody thought we could pull off. But we assembled a Talented, hard-working, dedicated group of creative individuals that rose to the occasion and helped me bring my vision to life and exceeded all of my expectations,” the director wrote. “This is been one of the most rewarding directing experiences of my career. I can’t wait to share this movie with all of you.”

But producing a film and starting the industry is not the only project that Carl is pursuing. While on a panel at BravoCon, he revealed that he will be returning to Loverboy in a different capacity.

“Well, I’m actually proud to announce I’m going to be joining the Loverboy team on a part-time basis to help with the non-alcoholic product,” he explained.

“I’m excited about that. I also am producing a movie that’s actually filming currently. So, I’m going to be going to Malibu after this, BravoCon, to finish the movie. And then I’ve got some other things in the works, which you guys will learn about…. But, yeah, I’m just trying to take care of myself, but focusing on my career is definitely going to be a good way to heal and move forward.”

Summer House Season 8 is expected to premiere early in 2024.
