Cardinals’ Adam Wainwright, other MLB players are 'Striking Out Poverty'

In 2018, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright’s non-profit organization, Big League Impact, teamed up with Food for the Hungry to create 'Striking Out Poverty.' A campaign connecting Major League Baseball players and fans with communities in need across the globe. Through 'Striking Out Poverty,' Wainwright, 10 other MLB players, and fans raised more than $200 thousand dollars for various projects in the Dominican Republic and beyond.
