Cardi B Talks About Hitting No. 3 on Billboard Hot 100 and Wanting to Collaborate with Lady Gaga: Exclusive Video

After officially hitting No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts with her hit single, “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi B still can’t believe the positive response. “Every single time Monday or Wednesday comes and I see myself there, I literally be crying,” the rapper tells Billboard on the red carpet at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.

When asked about the most challenging part of the industry has been thus far, Cardi B points out that her silliness and the fact she was on reality television means she constantly had to prove herself. “I’m a funny person but I take my music seriously.”
