Cardi B Slams Trump Amid Government Shutdown in Heated Expletive-Filled Rant: 'This S— Is Crazy'

Cardi B is speaking her unfiltered mind.

Amid the federal government shutdown that has left thousands of employees without pay for weeks, the rapper, 26, shared her personal thoughts regarding the situation in an explicit video on Wednesday.

In addition to ranting about the shutdown, Cardi slammed President Donald Trump for forcing some federal employees to return to work without being paid and trying to construct a border wall.

“Hey y’all, I just wanna remind y’all because it’s been a little bit over three weeks,” Cardi began the video posted on Instagram. “Trump is now ordering — as in summonsing — federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid.”

“Now I don’t wanna hear y’all motherf—ers talking ’bout, ‘Oh, but Obama shut down the government for 17 days,'” she continued. “Yeah, bitch, for healthcare so your grandma could check her blood pressure and you bitches can go check that p— at the gynecologist with no motherf—ing problem.”

“Now I know a lot of y’all don’t care because y’all don’t work for the government or y’all probably don’t even have a job but this s— is really f— serious, bro. This s— is crazy,” she explained. “Our country is in a hell hole right now all for a f—ing wall and we really need to take this serious[ly].”

“I feel like we need to take some action. I don’t know what type of action, bitch, cause this is not what I do, but bitch I’m scared,” she finished. “This is crazy and I really feel bad for these people who need to go to f—ing work to not get motherf—ing paid.”

This is not the first time that Cardi has gotten political with her signature sass over Instagram.

In March, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted another expletive-filled rant questioning where her tax dollars were going.

“The government is taking 40 percent of my taxes, and Uncle Sam, I want to know what you’re doing with my f—ing tax money,” she said in the clip. “Because … you know when you donate to a kid from a foreign country, they give you updates [on] what they’re doing with your donation? I want to know what you’re doing with my f—ing tax money.”

“I’m from New York and the streets are always dirty,” the Bronx native continued. “We were voted the dirtiest city in America. What is y’all doing? There’s still rats on the damn trains. I know you’re not spending it in no damn prison because y’all be giving n—— two [pairs of] underwear, one jumpsuit for like five months. So what is ya n—— doing with my f—ing money?”

She also spoke out in a separate video posted in 2017 asking that people who owe her money to wait until 2018 to pay her so she could avoid the large taxes.

“If you owe me a check, hold that motherf—er for 2018,” she said in the clip, which was shared on Twitter by journalist Yashar Ali. “Because the way the motherf—ing IRS is trying to come to me for tax season. Just hold that s—. Hold it for me motherf—er.”

The government closed on Dec. 22 in the wake of Trump’s call for funding for a proposed billion-dollar southern border wall.

The billionaire businessman-turned-president, 72, claims he needs the wall to stem a “crisis” of drugs, violence and human trafficking. Congressional Democrats, empowered by the midterms, have rejected that — calling a wall immoral and ineffective and offering to negotiate about border security once the government is reopened.

By day 22, negotiations were still fruitless, making this shutdown the longest in American history, surpassing the previous record of 21 days in the ’90s, under President Bill Clinton and a Republican-led Congress, according to CNN.

It currently remains unclear how or when the shutdown will end.
