Cardi B says she's sharing her Grammy with Mac Miller

Cardi B is sharing the love.

The rapper made history Sunday night when she became the first female rapper to win Best Rap Album since Lauryn Hill took home the prize over 20 years ago as a member of the Fugees. Cardi B is the first female rapper to win the award as a solo artist.

In the midst of this incredible accomplishment, Cardi B took time out to share her award with one of her fellow nominees, Mac Miller. Miller died from an apparent overdose at the age of 26 last fall. Many wondered if he might take home the top prize in his category posthumously, but Cardi B was named the winner.

Cardi isn’t the only winner to share some love with Mac Miller — his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande also took home her first Grammy on Sunday night, and she reportedly posted angry tweets and later deleted them when Miller did not win in his category.

Miller’s nomination for Best Rap Album was his one and only career Grammy nomination.
