Cardi B responded to a leaked video of Kanye West calling her a plant by the “Illuminati.” Two videos hit the web on Sunday (Oct. 1), finding Kanye seemingly having a manic episode. He claims that she was sent by the “Illuminati” with a mission to say the most “ignorant” lyrics possible. “Cardi B is a plant by the Illuminati,” the outspoken artist begins. “She don’t write her raps. She’s just there to sound as ignorant as possible and then make songs like, ‘F**k them and get some money.'”

He continued, “She has literally replaced Nicki Minaj, purposely they put her there, and now she doesn’t know what to do, and she has no idea what the f**k is going on. She thinks it’s just a blessing from the universe. It ain’t no blessing from the universe.”

According to UPROXX, Cardi B caught wind of the leaked audio and responded gracefully in a now-deleted xweet. She quote xweeted the post with a simple red heart.

The Bronx native also included a video of Ye giving her props during his interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee. “I’ve always believed in her since she was on the show,” he said, referring to her time on Love & Hip-Hop: New York.

The GRAMMY award-winning artist previously linked with West and Lil Durk for 2022’s “Hot Sh*t.” Cardi spoke about her experience working with Ye during an interview with Zane Lowe that same year.

“I’m so happy that he gave me this verse. And I had a lot of conversations with Kanye West,” she recalled. “I learned so much about him, and he’s such an amazing, sweet person. I’ve been feeling like I wish a lot of people [could] have conversations with him so they could just see the real him.”

Kanye’s rant continued in a second clip, with Ye shifting his attention toward his G.O.O.D. Music collaborators. West loses his temper with Scooter Braun when discussing leaving his once-coveted label behind. He shares how he regrets producing projects for Teyana Taylor, Pusha T, and Nas. The Chicago producer also alleges that the trio of artists didn’t “appreciate” him.

“It’s gon’ be a get me out this muthaf**kin’ G.O.O.D. Music sh*t now,” Ye yelled. “And Scooter, ain’t gonna be no, ‘Oh, I’m still putting my name on this sh*t.’ I need to get rid of G.O.O.D. Music ’cause I’m great. And guess what? Good is the enemy of great.

“The f**k I’m doing giving [‘Gonna Love Me’] to f**king Teyana? What the f**k I’m doing giving that Daytona album to Pusha? What the f**k I’m doing, bro? That sh*t was three [My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy] that I gave away. ‘Cops Shot the Kid,’ Nas rapping all goddamn off beat on it, don’t even wanna shoot a video. Then shoot a video, don’t even tell me. These muthaf**kas don’t appreciate me.”
