Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have been announced as performers for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, taking place Tuesday (Sept. 12).

The collaborators will perform their latest collab “Bongos” live from Newark, New Jersey’s Prudential Center, as Nicki Minaj returns as host.

The Grammy-winning rappers released the track on Friday (Sept. 8), three years following their first collab “W.A.P.”

Meg and Cardi have received five VMA nominations for the track in the categories of Song of the Summer, Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Collaboration and Best Hip Hop. Although the raunchy song didn’t win a nod, Meg won Best Hip-Hop for “Savage (Remix)” with Beyoncé in 2020. Cardi has also earned four VMAs throughout her career.

This year, the “Up” rhymer is nominated along with GloRilla in the category of Best Hip-Hop for their joint effort “Tomorrow 2.” They are up against Diddy, Dj Khaled, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Metro Boomin and Minaj.

Minaj will also take the stage performing her latest single, “Last Time I Saw You,” as Sean “Diddy” Combs receives the Global Icon Award. Shakira will also take home the 2023 Michael Jackson Vanguard Award, as Minaj did a year prior.

As Hot Girl Coach Megan has been on a musical hiatus, she’s also nominated for two VMA’s this year — Best Chorography and Best Art Direction for “Her” music video.

Fans can also look forward to an ultimate finale as MTV and Bacardi will celebrate Hip-Hop 50 with an iconic performance including DMC, Doug E. Fresh, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five and LL COOL J. Other performers set to hit the stage are A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Anitta, Diddy, Doja Cat, Future, Kaliii, Lil Wayne, Metro Boomin, NAV, NLE Choppa, Swae Lee and more.

In the meantime, revisit Cardi and Meg’s “Bongos” music video below and tune in to the 2023 MTV VMA’s tomorrow night (Sept. 12) at 8 P.M. ET.
