Cardi B is in hot water with fans after treating her two-year-old daughter to a $29,000 shopping spree.

The "Up" rapper took to her Instagram story to share a few details about her haul that included purchases from high-fashion designers for her daughter, Kulture.

"I went crazy shopping. All for Kulture though, nothing is mine. All KK," she said, showing fans several Chanel and Dior boxes. "What? God gave me a doll for a reason!"

The 28-year-old is being criticized by fans for spending such a significant amount of money on a toddler during such trying financial times for so many people. Many of the star's more than 87 million followers felt as though the star was "bragging" about her wealth on social media.

"I hope you realize that spending $29,000 on a two-year-old who will grow out of everything in a month, during a pandemic, when so many people are struggling financially is beyond tone-deaf," one person commented on Instagram. "If you have that kind of cash to throw around like it's nothing, then maybe consider donating it to people who actually need it."

"It's not good to spoil children," someone else tweeted.

"Do whatever you want, Cardi, but how about keeping it to yourself while so many people are struggling and so many kids have nothing to eat? Have some tact," commented another via Buzzfeed.

"We're living in a pandemic where people have lost their jobs and millions are struggling mentally. It's especially rough on kids. Suicide numbers are soaring and so is sexual and physical abuse of children,"another wrote. "This artist could have used her resources to raise awareness about so many things. She could have used her money to promote so many charities. Instead, she does this."

Another person pointed out that toddlers don't usually care much for designer pieces, but rather, would prefer to play with something made for children.

"Pretty sure two-year-olds prefer play-doh and slime or some sh-t. But sure, buy them Chanel," the follower wrote.

In July 2020, Cardi B addressed some of the previous backlashes she had received for buying Kulture an $8,000 Birkin handbag for her birthday.

"If I'm fly and Daddy's fly, then so is the kid. If I'm wearing Cha-nay-nay, my kid's having the same-same, you know what I'm saying? It's not up to what the kids like. If it was the kids, they'd be outside in diapers," the mom of one explained. "Because if I was looking like a bad bitch, expensive bitch, and I have my kid looking like a bum-bum, then y'all would be talking shit. So I'm not mad that Daddy bought baby a Birkin. She's gonna match Mommy."
