Cardi B & Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Collaboration Inspires Hilarious Nickname

Kim Kardashian and Cardi B now have fans calling them "Kardi" as they have partnered up to promote SKIMS.

SKIMS is an American shapewear and clothing brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian, Emma Grede, and Jens Grede. The reality television star is joining forces with "WAP" artist Cardi B -- which has fans already branding the partnership "Kardi."

Cardi B took to Instagram this afternoon to announce her new partnership with SKIMS and Kim Kardashian.

"Everybody’s wearing @skims, are you?," she wrote on social media alongside a video of her looking "snatched" as she modeled the SKIMS brand.

The rapper certainly brought "hot mom" energy as she posed for the camera, showing off her body in the SKIMS attire. “The SKIMS team approached me about it, and I just thought it was funny because of all the money I’ve spent on SKIMS...," she told ELLE ahead of the launch. "I love SKIMS a lot.”

She added, “I’m a quality person; I’m a fabric person. I really like the SKIMS material because it gives you a shape, but it doesn’t compress you.”

Fans immediately flooded the comments section, writing things such as "You could sell anything ! Lol" and "damn I want some skims now 🥹". Another wrote, "Omg 😱 love you Card 💜❤️ looking like a Princess 👸".

But one fan's comment is certainly getting a lot of attention as they already penned Cardi B and Kim Kardashian's new partnership -- "Kardi".

"Now we gotta call her Kardi," they wrote.

Kim Kardashian reshared the video to her own Instagram Story, helping to promote the Reel and her brand, furthering her new partnership with Cardi B. 

Cardi B Raves Over The SKIMS Dresses

Although Cardi B admits to loving all of the SKIMS products, she said that the dresses, specifically, were her favorite.

“I remember I bought, like, six SKIMS dresses at one time because they’re so comfortable, and you can wear them all day in the house, but if you really need to do a Target run, you could really go to Target in them,” she told ELLE, adding that the dresses make her feel sexy because she looks good in them.

“In those dresses, I don’t be glammed up most of the time, but I just feel like, ‘Oh, God, I’m dragging this wagon all over this house. I can’t wait ‘til my man sees me," she said.

Cardi B Brings Hot Mom Energy To SKIMS

As a mother of two, the "WAP" rapper is pushing against the narrative that motherhood makes women less desirable.

Cardi B told the outlet that becoming a mom has actually changed her confidence -- in a positive way. "Besides the fact that my body is a little bit more voluptuous now, I just feel like I have turned into a real woman," she said.

"I’m not a kid anymore—when it comes to my body, when it comes to my mentality when it comes to how I move. Sometimes it’s crazy when I’m like, ‘Wow, I’m a mom.’ But I’m a cool mom. I’m a hot mom...You know that song that be like ‘Stacy’s mom / You got it going on.’? It’s like, wow, I’m really Stacy’s mom.”
