Cara Delevingne is a grown woman who does what she wants to do, even if fans may not approve!

The multi-hyphenate star recently reminded her legion of admirers to relax regarding her choices. The model's followers took it upon themselves to bash the entertainer's tattoo artist, Matteo Nangeroni after he shared her topless pictures.

Although the semi-nude snaps were taken to flaunt the 31-year-old's newest body art, fans believed the exposure was unnecessary and attacked the artist. In response, the "Suicide Squad" star swiftly shut down the hate parade with an important message.

The social media drama began on Tuesday, September 26, after the Italian tattoo artist updated his Instagram page with a series of Delevingne's topless pictures. The carousel captured the stunning Hammersmith native rocking her honey-blonde hair in a bob cut and posing sideways to show the new ink on her arm.

The model followed the platform's strict nudity laws by using her other arm to cover her bosom, drawing the eye to her new tattoo. The "Mirror, Mirror" co-author's body art featured an abstract image of a woman's face above a unique definition of the Italian word "Dormiveglia."

The words read: "Dormiveglia: The place that stretches between sleeping and walking." A quick dictionary search showed that "Dormiveglia" represented a "semi-conscious state." However, Nangeroni changed its meaning by replacing the word "waking" with "walking."

"Dormiveglia for Cara. It was an honor and a pleasure to meet you," the tattoo artist captioned the post. As stated, fans flooded the comment section with speculations about his morals and bashed the Italian for making Delevingne's pose topless.

"You needed to put her naked for an arm tattoo? That's why most female clients will not go to a male tattoo artist," someone quipped. Another displeased follower asked, "Cool tat. Why is she naked?"

"If this was a famous male celebrity, would you have them topless too? Seems unnecessary…" a third pointed out. More people slammed Nangeroni's intentions, with a fourth claiming they would never patronize male tattoo artists who pose their clients topless. "Do better," the individual penned.

"Why is she topless to show an arm tattoo? WTF," a fan exclaimed. "I'm sorry, but why did she need to take her top off for this tattoo?" Another upset user quipped before attacking Nangeroni with the hashtags "#perv" and "#unfollow."

As more commenters bashed the internet personality for the topless post, his client became aware of the hate and rushed to his comments hours later to clear the misunderstanding. Stressing that the semi-nude images had been consensual, the 31-year-old wrote:

"Just to be clear to everyone! I chose to take my bra off. The picture didn't look good with my bra on. I am a perfectionist, especially when it comes to photography, and I was trying to help make something beautiful. Everyone calm down, please. Thank you x."

Unfortunately, some fans had double reasons to hate Nangeroni as they called him out for misspelling the definition of Dormiveglia. "Nooo… you spelled it wrong. It's supposed to be 'waking,' not WALKING," a fan corrected the tattoo artist.

"Was 'walking' instead of 'waking' a choice or a typo?" Another wondered while a third follower stated they were more displeased by the error than the topless images. "I find it more offensive that waking is misspelled," the social media user wailed.

Cara Delevingne Shocked Fans By Sharing A Sweet Kiss With FKA Twigs

Weeks before her tattoo drama, Delevingne was trending for re-creating Madonna's iconic 2003 VMAs smooch at the Vogue World event. The model and the sensational singer FKA Twigs became the latest same-sex celebrities to lock lips during a performance like the "Material Girl" singer.

In Madonna's case, the Queen of Pop kissed Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera; however, her predecessors did it better. At this year's Vogue World show, Twigs gave a mesmerizing performance in a flattering black LaQuan Smith bodysuit.

The "Cellophane" singer's show was suddenly interrupted by the Hammersmith beauty, who invaded the stage in a shocking punk outfit and colorful mohawk. However, Delevingne's appearance earned the 31-year-old a loving smooch from the record producer.

Unfortunately for the model, who was engrossed in the kiss, Twigs was whisked away by one of her backup dancers, and the multi-hyphenate star was left craving more. Meanwhile, viewers were stunned by the unexpected smooch and rushed to the X platform to share their reactions.
