Rescue services were continuing to deal with floodwater in New South Wales on March 23 amid the heaviest rain in decades.
This footage posted by the New South Wales State Emergency Service’s Queanbeyan Unit shows a car being washed away after a motorist tried to cross a flooded creek.
In a Facebook post, the unit said the driver had luckily been able to escape before volunteers arrived.
The unit added it took rescue crews almost two hours to get to the scene due to the weather and distance. Credit: NSW SES via Storyful
