Car Seat Headrest Share Smash Mouth Cover: Listen

Last week, Car Seat Headrest and Smash Mouth premiered their respective covers of each other’s work on SiriusXMU. Smash Mouth did a rendition of the Teens of Style track “Something Soon,” while CSH took on “Fallen Horses” from 1999’s Astro Lounge. Listen to the latter below, as well as the original recording. The covers were a long time coming—rumors of a collaboration between the bands first surfaced in 2016. Car Seat Headrest recently released their new album Twin Fantasy, a re-recording of a 2011 LP by the same name that Will Toledo described as “never a finished work.”
