The Capture Season 2 is a British crime thriller drama series created by Ben Chanan, who also wrote and directed it. Season 2 opens up six months after the events of Season 1 wherein Detective Inspector Rachel Carey has been promoted. However, she finds herself in a dead-end department with limited resources. Meanwhile, invisible assassins begin stalking London, using manipulated CCTV footage to erase their identities. One of these targets is a rising politician named Isaac Turner. During a live interview, his words are altered through a sophisticated hacking technique, jeopardizing his career and reputation. Carey becomes entangled in the case, and as she investigates, she uncovers a deeper conspiracy.
The cast features Callum Turner as Shaun Emery and Holliday Grainger as DCI Rachel Carey. Paapa Essiedu is seen as Issac Turner. It also stars Ben Miles as Commander Danny Hart and Lia Williams as DSU Gemma Garland. The role of DSU Tom Kendricks is essayed by Nigel Lindsay. The series also features Ginny Holder as DS Nadia Latif, and Nigel Lindsay as DSU Tom Kendricks.
