The NHL regular season hasn’t even started yet and Tom Wilson is already doing Tom Wilson things.

During the Washington Capitals’ preseason game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday, the power forward got into a tussle, which included him challenging every single member of the Canes’ bench.

Wilson was awarded a 10-minute misconduct as a result.

As reported by Sara Civian of The Athletic, while Wilson was trying to get at the opposing team, he also struck an official in the process.

That is certainly not a good look for the six-year pro.

After the game, the winger eluded to a chirp from a coach on the Hurricanes’ bench that got him all riled up.

Wilson received a 20-game ban at the start of last season for a hit that occurred during the preseason. The penalty was later reduced to 14 games.

It’ll be interesting to see whether or not the NHL decides to look further into this particular incident. The Capitals’ forward certainly hasn’t earned himself any favours over the years.
