Who is Trippie Redd?

White (Trippie Redd) was a student in Canton City Schools from 2010 to 2012.

Earlier this year, Canton City Council presented his family members with an informal resolution commending him for his toy donations to children and participation in the Southeast Community Center Christmas party in December 2022.

According to the resolution, White also spent some time living in Massillon in his youth.

Part of the online rap generation, the musical artist has 3.6 million followers on TikTok and 13.8 million followers on Instagram. His song "Dark Knight Dummo," featuring Travis Scott, has attracted 175 million YouTube views.

Trippie Redd released the album "Mansion Musik" earlier this year with guest appearances by Chief Keef, Future, Lil Baby, Lucki, Lil Durk, Nardo Wick and Juice WRLD. "Swag Like Ohio, PT. 2" features Lil B.

AllMusic, an online music database, describes the 25-track album as featuring some of the rapper's "hardest material to date, favoring blown-out trap beats and futuristic synths over the more atmospheric textures of his earlier work."

Debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, "Mansion Musik" was reportedly rush-released due to hackers threatening to leak the album unless he paid them a million dollars, according to AllMusic.

Earlier this month, the 24-year-old musical artist released the single "Took My Breath Away," featuring Skye Morales.

Trippie Redd told Rolling Stone Magazine that he is working on a new musical project tentatively called "A Love Letter To You 5."

His diverse musical style has been described as grungy, melodic and innovative. Songs also have been categorized as both rage rap and emo-rap. AllMusic said that his music is "brash, energetic and emotional."

Past albums also include the 2020 release "Pegasus" and 2021 recording "Trip at Night," which featured Playboi Carti on "Miss the Rage."
