We Can't Stop Watching Ayesha & Steph Curry's Daughters Dancing to Beyoncé's 'Black Is King'
Quarantine life doesn’t seem to have dampened Ayesha and Steph Curry’s family fun — especially if Ayesha’s latest Instagram posts are any indication of how the family of five is up too while they’re staying at home amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Yesterday, the cookbook author and mom of three shared this adorable video of her two daughters, Riley and Ryan, dancing and lip-synching to ‘Already’ from Black Is King, Beyoncé’s hit Disney+ visual album. And it’s a mood.

The Food Network star’s famous friends and fellow moms were quick to show their support and applaud her daughters’ creative direction. “Obsessed,” Gabrielle Union commented, while model and new mama Ashley Graham wrote what we’re all thinking: “New music video out for Black is King!👏🏽❤️.”
Riley, in particular, showed off some incredibly impressive dance moves, and many of the Ayesha’s followers applauded the 7-year-old’s choreographic prowess. “OKKKK little mama can DANCE dance!!!!!!” Elaine Welteroth commented. And Ryan’s artistic contribution also shined through. “Ryan caught my vibe on this one!” Seth Curry noted.

As a teaser to this video, Curry’s daughters showed off their modeling talents, too, in an Instagram post the proud mom shared a few hours prior. “MOOD 🤎Ishi’s daughters,” The Great American Baking Show host captioned the photo.
Frankly, we’re not surprised that Beyoncé’s latest is inspiring a new generation of young artists like the Curry girls — starting with Blue Ivy Carter’s cameo in Black is King, where the 8-year-old looked exactly like her mom. Queen Bey herself spoke with Good Morning America last week to share more on her inspiration for the visual album.
“It’s been a year in the making,” she said on the program. “I worked with a diverse group of very gifted directors and actors and creators from all over the world to breathe magic to the story of the Lion King. The narrative unfolds through music videos, fashion, dance, beautiful natural settings and raw new talent. But it all started in my backyard. So, from my house to Johannesburg to Ghana to London to Belgium to the Grand Canyon — it was truly a journey to bring this film to life.”
The multi-hyphenate expressed her deeper intention behind the film. “My hope for this film is that it shifts the global perception of the word ‘black,’ which has always meant inspiration and love and strength and beauty to me,” the artist said. “But ‘black is king’ means black is regal and rich in history, in purpose and in language. I hope y’all love it. I hope you enjoy it. And I hope y’all see it tonight.”
As for the Curry girls, we hope there are more music videos to come!
