Cannibal Corpse vocalist and known claw-game savant George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher has once again donated a plethora of plush toy winnings to those in need.
Fisher, along with his wife Stacy and daughter Maya, hauled seven bags of plushies to the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, posting the following on his Instagram account:
“Last week @stacy.alourdasfisher @mayflow_r and myself brought 7 bags of plushies to @allchildrens hospital in St. Pete, FL,” wrote Corpsegrinder. “A huge THANK YOU to the entire staff! They gave us a certificate of appreciation but in all honesty they deserve one and much, much more for their tireless efforts to help children.”
If you follow Corpsegrinder on Instagram, then you may have seen some of his claw-game posts. Fisher has mastered the seemingly rigged machines, revealing in a 2021 interview that his “secret” is to focus on the claw itself.
“I play the claw,” he said. “I’m like a kid at Disney; I’m looking what’s in there, and then I’m looking at how it’s sitting inside of there. Is there something on top of it? Do I have to move that? As soon as I see how the claw reacts, I’ll know if I’m gonna win.”

Corpsegrinder will surely encounter his fair share of claw games while Cannibal Corpse are on the road for their co-headlining North American tour with Mayhem. The trek kicks off September 22nd in Nashville — the same day Cannibal Corpse’s new album Chaos Horrific comes out.
