Egg-cellent

Head out to Bernalillo for the 24th Annual Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30. The egg hunt begins at 10 and there will also be prizes, fun jumps and more. The event will be held at the Rotary Park, 370 Rotary Park Road in Bernalillo.

Hide then seek

The Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque is holding an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30. Bring your baskets to Harnett Park, 6718 Rio Grande Blvd. NW, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.

Hop to it

Balloon Fiesta Park is hosting the 3rd annual Spring Flings & Easter Things starting at noon on Saturday, March 30. Enjoy an Easter egg decorating contest, egg relay race, bunny hop race, vendors and more. Balloon Fiesta Park is located at 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway NE.

Toss it

Albuquerque and Bernalillo County residents can swing by the Balloon Fiesta Park East Lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30, and drop off up to 55 gallons of qualifying household hazardous waste. Residents must fill out a participant form and bring it with their items. For the form and a list of qualifying items, visit cabq.gov/events. The East Lot is located at 5000 Balloon Fiesta Parkway NE.

Compost it

Learn how worms can you turn your kitchen scraps and backyard trimmings into compost. Yini Yang will lead the free class from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Open Space Visitor Center, 6500 Coors Blvd. NW.

Batter up

The Albuquerque Isotopes kick off the 2024 season against the El Paso Chihuahuas this weekend. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m. Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30, and at 1:35 p.m. Sunday, March 31. Sunday's game will feature a pregame Easter candy hunt on the field from 12:30-1 p.m. Tickets start at $10. Isotopes Park is located at 1601 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE.

Under the sea

"The Little Mermaid" is closing out its run at the Rodey Theatre at University of New Mexico this weekend with shows at 7 p.m. Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 31. Tickets are $12-$24, plus fees, at popejoypresents.evenue.net.
