In the black and white snapshot, captured by photographer Misan Harriman and shared via Instagram, Harry stands onstage, microphone in hand at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, which hosted the recent Invictus Games. Out in the audience, listening intently, was Meghan. Despite the physical distance between the two in the photo, it was so clear just how much support Meghan was offering her husband of five years. “A lovely moment from this years [Invictus Games],” Harriman captioned the image. The photographer wasn’t the only one who thought the candid moment was lovely. All throughout the comment section of the post were compliments and sweet messages about Meghan and Harry’s relationship. “Awesome love with unconditional mutual support,” one Instagram user wrote. “They love and support each other. Simple,” another person said. Some simply left heart emojis, but the sentiment was nearly all the same.
Given everything Harry and Meghan endured during their time as senior members of The Firm, supporting one another and standing by each other has been such a steadfast quality of their relationship and marriage. We see it time and again when the couple is out in public. But this intimate snapshot proves the pair’s greatest quality is their unyielding support and admiration for one another.
